What a surprise! It wouldn’t be a good look to keep letting them use their platform, makes sense from their point of view.

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-23 10:08:47

And TerriBull why does he expect police protection when in this country .

Lathyrus Fri 23-Jun-23 10:08:53

Obviously taking Prince and Princess for their children shows they still regard themselves as part of Royalty.

Just not doing anything.

Callistemon21 Fri 23-Jun-23 10:11:50

Grany

These two H&M have left the firm. You Annie defend the firm grin

So, if they're no longer royal, why do they not renounce any titles? Why does Harry not abdicate the succession for himself and his descendants? Why accept titles for your children?
Why still rely on hiso royal connection to gain work?

He has cut off ties with the family but is hypocritical enough to want to retain the parts that he thinks makes him someone special, someone to be reckoned with.

I'm surprised you support him, Grany
His position and connections are all down to an accident of birth, a fact which you despise, but which he uses constantly.

M0nica Fri 23-Jun-23 10:14:46

Trivialising of the word 'hatred' again. Always used by people in indefensible positions to complain when anyone takes exception to their exceptional evil/stupid/ ignorant/ pathetic/dangerou, fill in adjectives as appropriate to object/person 'hated'

Calendargirl Fri 23-Jun-23 10:32:11

Although Meghan felt in the Oprah interview that Archie had been denied a title, I’m sure it would have been explained to her (if she cared to listen) that in due course, on the death of the Queen, Archie and any other siblings would be Prince or Princess, as grandchildren of Charles, who by then would be King.

If only she had been a bit more patient, all this fuss could have been avoided.

He was of course at the time offered the title of Earl of Dumbarton, one of Harry’s other titles, but apparently the ‘Dumb’ part was deemed an insult.

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-23 10:39:45

She wanted to play the racist card when on Oprah

Grany is not alone in her liking Meghan and Harry, it's a common theme amongst many who despise the Royal family and their privileges and want the institution gone. Could it be because M&H are determined to undermine the RF, the old "my enemy's enemy is my friend" syndrome?

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-23 10:55:39

Undermine the royal family with constant lies ?

Rosie51 Fri 23-Jun-23 13:08:51

Well that's the whole point isn't it Anniebach they lie and lie and the gullible believe the lies, and criticise the RF. I don't think people like Grany do believe all the lies, but it suits their agenda to pretend they do. If the rest of the Royal family were to disappear tomorrow most of Harry and Meghan's admirers would fade away like the morning mist.

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-23 14:43:01

No way would I put forward lies to win any disagreement

M0nica Fri 23-Jun-23 14:49:03

H&M have already become irrelevant, to anyone, most of all irrelevant to the Royal Family.

M seemed to have believed that anything she wants she gets and as a trained actress she could outshine the lot of them. This has proved not to be true.

I hope they will face up to reality soon and settle down to the modest life style they can afford among people who want to know them for reasons other than celebrity, but, sadly, my hopes are low.

Back to pages 4 and 5, and fashion.
This dress, worn today by Catherine at Royal Ascot, is amazing! Eat your heart out, Dior and Meghan.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 23-Jun-23 16:27:49

Catherine could wear a bin bag and look fabulous. Meghan, by comparison, is dumpy (as would most people be).

Smileless2012 Fri 23-Jun-23 17:36:43

She certainly knows what to wear doesn't she Joseann.

Joseann Fri 23-Jun-23 17:48:15

Yes, she does Smileless, but I'm not sure about Meghan.
It's the fabric, the cut, the style and of course the model.

Smileless2012 Fri 23-Jun-23 17:51:54

Sometimes simple is best Joseann.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 23-Jun-23 18:03:43

Yes.

Lathyrus Fri 23-Jun-23 18:04:29

I liked Meghans dress but it didn’t fit. On the bust especially.

Joseann Fri 23-Jun-23 18:08:28

Yes, the open back bodice was too tight as well. You can see the flesh overhanging the seam.

Norah Fri 23-Jun-23 18:09:23

She has one of the prettiest faces I've ever seen in a photo, however she rubs some the wrong way.

Joseann Fri 23-Jun-23 18:15:26

She is beautiful. I'm talking about her fashion choices on this thread, not her personality.

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-23 18:24:26

She proves ‘beauty is only skin deep’

Lathyrus Fri 23-Jun-23 18:24:33

Joseann

Oh yes. Hadn’t seen the back view. Not many people can wear those bodice clutching dresses without the bulge.

MrsNemo Fri 23-Jun-23 18:45:31

Today's newspaper reported that Meghan's popularity is at a low ebb; what will this sad pair do when they have no revenue from complaining and telling tales? They have no talents to sell.

NotSpaghetti Fri 23-Jun-23 19:34:21

Well I thought she was a passable actress in Suits - some of which I saw before I knew who she was.
She could go back to acting.
