Or are we already without a government.

Sunak is avoiding parliament.

A weak little man

So Starmer is also by his avoidance?

Meeting a foreign leader is more important than making a speech

I don’t know what that woman was talking about. As for Cash, I never know what he’s going on about. I’m surprised that Peter Bone isn’t there. I see my MP has turned up.

Some very odd speeches from the Johnson supporters.

I’ve been very disappointed with Tobias’s voting record ( although I understand that it’s very difficult for any Conservative MP to go against the whip) which is why I was so moved to hear him speak today. I’m rather hoping that Rees Mogg is digging his own political grave today: I hope his constituents are listening.

Tobias Elwood went up a bit in my estimation for this (the reason he is there today)

And it was delightful to see the ill-informed troublemaker Rees-Mogg being politely handed his arse.

Sunak was meeting the Swedish PM at Downing Street, they were photographed together earlier this afternoon, and he is in a series of meetings with him, it was on the news just now.

It was said on the news this morning that neither Mr.Starmer or Mr.Sunak would be in parliament to vote as they both had previous commitments, not sure how true this is though.

You can see the speech Starmer made in Leith today. I doubt he could have organised the speech and trip to Scotland at short notice. I have no idea what Sunak was doing today but someone else may.

Crikey. This is good stuff. I welled up when I heard Tobias Elwood and Theresa May speak. Even Leadsom. And Peter Bottomley. I won’t say the effect Rees Mogg had on me….

Rees-Mogg - Pretentious piffler came to mind.
Penny Mordaunt has done the right thing though, which can’t have been easy, credit to her.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 19-Jun-23 18:08:23

Good innit?

It's a disgrace if Sunak and Cabinet do not vote. The Committee of Privileges is not a kangaroo court. It is advised by a judge. It must be supported otherwise Ministers will be able to lie to the Commons with impunity.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 19-Jun-23 18:02:46

All people should continuously rule. I agree with that!

Churchill

Lia Nici!!

Quite extraordinary.

What IS she talking about regarding the language in which the report is written being biased when the words she suggested were biased were in fact neutral?

It would seem so.

Listening to the speeches particularly from May, it really is beyond disgraceful that they are not turning up.

Siope Mon 19-Jun-23 17:13:05

Do I have it right that the only members of the cabinet present are Mordaunt and Churchill?

Shameful.

Casdon Mon 19-Jun-23 17:07:00

Very appropriate speech from Teresa May just now.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 19-Jun-23 17:06:44

Admiration for Theresa May

Whitewavemark2 Mon 19-Jun-23 16:41:04

Is Sunak sitting this out then?

Whitewavemark2 Mon 19-Jun-23 16:27:49

👍

MayBee70 Mon 19-Jun-23 16:26:37
