I don't know that they are. They drop at times, and then rise again.

The RNLI is there to protect anyone in difficulties - they cannot cherry pick who to rescue.

Why would I have a problem with Brits emigrating? That doesn't affect me, and it's not upsetting anyone else, then that's lovely as well. 👍👍

Yes, some prefer an animal that will give them unconditional love rather than earn any from humans, like the lady I spoke about.

So your OP was pretty inaccurate really.

So your OP was pretty inaccurate really.

Primrose53 of course the people working in the NHS are legal, there are huge fines for employing someone who does not have leave to work in this country but what you do not know is how many of them came here to seek asylum, were granted it and are therefore now able to work. The NHS and Social care employ 3 million people, you can be certain that lots of them either came here as refugees or are the relatives of people who came here as refugees. They will be represented across the whole spectrum of the workforce from consultants to cleaners, nurses to porters, just open your eyes when you are next in a hospital!

Saving life at sea is far, far more important than squabbling about territorial waters. Good on the RNLI!

If we had not Brexited the EU there would be no question they could be returned to France. Just saying!

Human beings aren't illegal, they are simply displaced and needing help

I once met a woman who was angry that people were collecting for refugees because "We should be helping are own!!!11"

I told her she was quite welcome to start her own collection for "are own" but she then regaled me with how she flies abroad to help stray dogs be brought to the UK

I will never understand a person who believes a dog is a dog anywhere but a human is an unwanted inconvenience unless they directly benefit from their existence

But I expect in her position she gets unwavering love and loyalty from dogs and hasn't figured out her personality is why other humans don't give her the respect she thinks she is due

yawn!!! 😴. How many times have we heard that and we all know it!! However, they are here LEGALLY!!!

We are at the hospital several times a month for my husband and Thursday he saw an Egyptian consultant, previously he has seen Indian, Chinese and african consultants. He has seen Portuguese and Filipino nurses. But they are here LEGALLY.

If you got rid of all the non British born staff in the NHS, you'd have a longer wait at A and E.

Compared with Germany, could it be that they were faced with a sudden massive influx that they just had to get on and do something? In comparison, the UK has seen an unrelenting trickle, so the government wrongly thought things would slow down or they could cope bit by bit?

Most European countries have a problem with the migrants, not just us. Also we do not take as many as say Germany for example. Italy also has a big problem as that is one of the first counties they land in if coming from Africa. Just remember these people are human beings, most living in grinding poverty who just want a better life and who can blame them. I agree it's a huge problem for our country and there doesn't seem to be a solution.

What about the other story of the men on the ship's rudder for 14days in the Atlantic. They ended up in Brazil. These people must be so very desperate to put their lives at risk.
