HS2

Just watching Parliament, and some absolutely useless junior minister put up in place of the Transport Minister.

But it looks as if HS2 is going to be scrapped.

It doesn’t affect me living on the South Downs, but it sounds terrible for those who have, and now seemingly for no good reason.

According to the Times 600 people in Derby will be losing their jobs in Derby because of HS2. I suppose that will be buried news wise by the reshuffle.
