That is an absolute lie and she knows it.

One grooming gang does not constitute a 'majority'.

In fact, a Home Office report in 2020 found that grooming gangs are more likely to be white British.

780 million people are entitled to claim asylum under existing laws according to SB. How was this figure calculated?
This is a very pertinent point and it is not clear how the UN answers it.
I think it’s time to take stock and move forward to a better understanding of who is in great need and what conditions apply for asylum to be granted regardless of the political party in power at the moment.

It’s just a theoretical figure of people who COULD claim asylum but most of whom have no inclination to do so. It’s Braverman desperately using scare tactics.

The Anglican Church and in particular Justin Welby have been seeking to have talks with Braverman over the immigration issue.

She is refusing, completely snubbing the church - with the Church being shocked as such a slap in the face.

A lot of Tory MPs are in as well, including ministers who have protested at Bravermans speech saying that it is

Many are calling on Sunak to sack her, “because if he doesn’t he will look weak”

Tobias Ellwood is amongst Tory MPs who are willing to make their views publicly known, and said that political parties never win when they become extreme.

IPSOS forced the DM to do a correction of an opinion piece written by Braverman, which misleadingly linked Pakistani origin British nationals to grooming gangs as being almost the only gangs who carried out these crimes.
