He has been suspended by GB News for comments made about a female reporter Ava Evans , " who would want to s**g that, the comments were made in reply to something she has said about male suicide. Why do these misogynistic men think that their penis is the thing that women crave? Grow up and get real , Sex is not the B all and end All of everything, and they way they wave it about who in their right mind would.

Sauce for the goose etc. Such old fashioned sayings dont seem have a place nowadays.

He does seem to be spinning out of control, doesnt he?

Wheres that minister for mens mental health when you need him?

Didnt Ian Duncan Smith encourage the destruction of Ulez cameras?
I'm sure someone will remember.

Ah, IDS... "The Quiet Man"...

I think he was basically supporting them being 'muffled' by plastic bags.

Fine, as long as they don't criminalise others who decide on a bit of criminal activity about issues that bother them... oh, wait a minute...

LF has now been arrested 'on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage and encouraging or assisting offences to be committedโ€™

This relates to his comments about ULEZ on Rumble. Here's a link:

Well just how silly is he?

If you publicly encourage people to damage government property there can only be one outcome. Of which he will be aware.

Is he trying for martyrdom among his followers? Is this part of his 'British Values' that he wants to 'reclaim'?

I really do understand anger about things we feel are unjust, I was a bit of a hot-head at one time... when I was 18.

You don't change the world by smashing it up or continually raging at people by publicly humiliating them.

I don't think Laurence Fox has been accused of rape, sexual assault and stalking though even though he thinks women half his age in bars want to shag him --how deluded is he?--

Exactly.

Does he think that, have you wormed your way into his mind.

Do you think of all men as being the same? I find that strange, really. I judge everyone as I find them - men or women. I can criticise LF without thinking of all men in that way.

Maybe it depends on the sorts of men you know, but I can't think of anyone who would speak about women in those terms, so I would definitely not suggest that criticism of Fox would apply to any man other than him.

Anniebach Tue 03-Oct-23 15:10:16

No it does not suggest that he thinks that way of women but one women , no different to criticism of him suggests all men are thought of that way.

Doodledog Tue 03-Oct-23 13:05:14

His comments about AE certainly suggest that he thinks that way about women. I don't think you have to be too far inside his head to think that. 'By your words shall you be justified, and by your words shall you be condemned', and all that.

Yes Annie, Iโ€™m clear on that.

Anniebach Mon 02-Oct-23 19:43:02

One is accused of sexual assault one is not

Iam64 Mon 02-Oct-23 19:39:54

Hello - apologies for posting Brand on Fox, probably muddle on my part, but in my defence these two men share a love of being the centre of attention and disdain towards women.

Look at X and twitter as it was and perhaps you will understand my opinion. All of Avas old tweets are now not searchable - they are only evidenced by screenshots. We are all controlled by what media lets us see. Look at the attacks on GB News that readily searchable still - you will find most MSM is against GB News - search and ye will find - if the Tech companies allow us to see it

I understand your opinion, MSM controls most debates on subjects now and keeps the subject hot where it wants to.

Anyone on Twitter can remove their Tweets. Perhaps, rather than 'Big Tech' or the media - Ava Evans removed them herself?

According to The Times and The Sunday Times, of the 8 national newspapers they referenced, 5 were seen as predominantly Right Wing, and 2, Left Wing... I can' t remember what they said about The Independent and the article is behind a paywall.

As GB News is a tad to the Right, I can't see how most of the media is against it. They might be critical of it's format, or the professionalism of its presentation, but I really don't think most of the Right Wing MSM is against a Right-Wing slanted TV News Programme in principle.

Why the post re Russel Brand on this thread ?

Probably because they both share a common attitude to women.

Doodledog Mon 02-Oct-23 09:10:55

I don't know, but we both responded to it grin
