According to the Times the chancellor said he would launch the " biggest tranformation " of public services in a generation.
He said the government would use artificial intelligenceto improve efficiency and that AI could be used by teachers to mark papers, by police officers to prevent crime, and .
by doctors and nurses to diagnose illnesses.

Good. I’m glad they’ve done all that, for all the difference it has made. Just Stop Oil have been guilty of some horrible vandalism. I’m not sure the police needed new powers, they just need to use the powers they’ve got. Blocking a public highway has always been an offence but JSO protesters have been allowed to break the law by doing just that.

I hope they do introduce legislation for points 1, 2 and 3! Protests should always be peaceful. I'm sick of seeing disruption to oil, gas and energy supplies. And "locking on" is usually vandalism - superglueing yourself to a precious artwork is NOT a means of peaceful protest.

How has the right to protest been eroded LizzyDrip? Last weekend there was a protest with 3000 attendees in London, it was about Brexit. There was also another, smaller protest about XL Bully dogs. Just Stop Oil have been protesting for over a year, if not longer, stopping the traffic, destroying and vandalising buildings and artefacts. Why do you think the right to protest has been eroded?

This government, and the appalling way they have purposely run down our public services, is an utter disgrace. I am so angry about their wilful mismanagement of our country’s basic foundations. They have presided over thirteen years of managed decline of the NHS, education & policing, not to mention the erosion of free speech and the right to protest. We owe it to future generations to get rid of this truly disastrous government, before the UK is ruined for ever!

I don’t think HS2 spending has been fraud. It’s horrendously expensive but I think it should be completed. What has been spent already will be wasted if the project is not completed.

I actually thought some of the op was/is libelous.
Particularly the HS2 part.

I totally agree with you. This government is beyond corrupt and openly proud of it. By drip feeding these scandals daily they keep the public overwhelmed and unable to do anything about their corruption it seems.
More people are living in poverty than ever before and the governments answer is to give more to the rich.
