Omid Scobie - Endgame.

Not heard of Scobie but he is obviously shrewd enough to know that he's on to a winner given the insatiable thirst for speculation and tittle-tattle about the royals. Never read any of it and would like to see an end to the monarchy.

I heard a bit about the book yesterday and honestly could not care less I will I will not be reading it. I am more bothered about the snippet of Harry that I saw on the news last night. He was asked about the remark made about Archies skin tone which was brought up on the Oprah interview something most of us will not forget. I was astonished to hear him say that himself and Meghan have never said there was any racism in the R.F. He declared that all of the talk about people being racist was something the media blew up to be all out of proportion. I seriously think Harry has something wrong with him denying the remarks that were made. Lets face it Hand M are an inter-racial couple and could have brought a fresh and positive outlook to the R.F but they messed it all up. They just do not see the harm they are doing to Archie with their childish carry on he is a child of mixed heritage which they should not be squabbling over, they should grow up and care for their children in an appropriate manner. They seem to think they are the only inter-racial couple in the whole world but they bloody well are not they may wake up to themselves one day lets hope too much damage has not been done to their children by then.

Ps I am laughing at your post, though, sarahcyn, and also what you said about being given months of help and support with the protocols involved is absolutely true.

That is the perfect title! Who are these awful people profiteering from others? And our media typically fall hook line and sinker! And give him and others such free publicity!

How can revealing the royal who made the remark, exactly whatever it was, be libellous which Scobie seemed to fear? It’s either true or not true. Maybe it’s more breach of copyright if it’s taken from the alleged letter between KC and MM.

Lady Colin Campbell said at the time of the Oprah show that it was Princess Anne who said before the wedding that Meghan would not be a good fit ‘culturally’, and that could cause problems for any children they might have. She said that M&H chose to misquote. I find that quite believable, as Lady C has been right in the past, and she often quotes her sources in her books.

When she was offered lots and lots of support to help her learn how the RF works, protocols etc - including help from Sophie Wessex - she turned it all down saying "Oh I don't need help, I've got Harry". Which is a bit like saying "Oh I don't need a ski instructor - I've got this marvellous guy called Eddie the Eagle"

Now then, sarahcyn, you're being very unkind to Eddie the Eagle. Not many of us could qualify for the Olympics!
Eddie became a fully qualified ski instructor shortly after retiring and he still works as a ski guide today.
And Eddie is an all-round Good Bloke!

Yes it really is despicable, I can honestly say I have never even picked up a copy of any of their books, (although I read the comments in the papers) and I do despise myself for wanting to know who that person is!

There will come a point, very soon, that if H&M are not invited to any family gatherings, there is nothing left to say. No contact means no new material. That will be a relief.

You're right eazybee, making money, particularly out of people who can't reply is obviously the end game here.. Sadly, all these royal books emanating fro M & H and O.S. do make an awful lot of money, which is why O.S. does it; H & M for spite but the money comes in handy for the court cases.

Shows OS to be desperate and lacking in credibility and authenticity as are H & M if they fail to condemn this bitter and unsubstantiated tirade.

It's all a money making nonsence by a would be author with no cedability.

From the snippets I've read that have emerged from Endgame there's nothing particularly shocking or embarrassing to RF, its all rather petty and my response is so what, mountains being made from mole hills. Shows OS to be desperate and lacking in credibility and authenticity.

I was at a lunch yesterday, one of our friends is bi-racial another friend (who is not white) has a white sister in law.

They both said that it was a common family conversation as to what shade the children would be, what eye/hair colour which genes would come out stronger.

They were surprised that this could be construed as racist when in their opinion it was just natural curiosity.
