I can't see what the problem is with wondering what colour skin the child of a mixed race couple will have. As I have seen from friends children/grandchildren, it can be so variable, it can be so variable.

That's exactly it. The revelation on the page about it being Charles comes immediately after the quotation from Meghan, "I think that that would be very harmful for them" if the name were to be revealed. You can't help to think that the two comments side by side would lead to an explosion. Someone proofreading would have noticed, well I would.
