In the interest of fairness Andrew Rossindale an Essex MP has been there told that there is no case to answer by the Met.

That must be a relief as the accusations were extremely unpleasant.

Mind you though the irony that someone not being found guilty of a particularly unpleasant crime is not lost!

He wasn’t charged, didn’t go to court, no case to answer is not the same as not being found guilty

Oh dear. I wondered how long it would be before he was under the spotlight. From being all over the media and regularly interviewed, since his divorce he's been very quiet and you hardly hear anything from him. I did wonder if he was keeping a low profile for good reason?

I do try to avoid speculating but have been waiting for Gove to be scrutinised

PPE by the sound if it. OK let’s hope this is the beginning of all the MPs involved being locked at.

I love the thought of a general election taking place but just one at a time!
Its a disgrace on the Tory, whom most of them are, and another good reason to have a general election asap, but of course the Tories won't, cos they know they'll loose

It would be a relief to have a GE called. I don’t think Sunak is holding off because he thinks Tories will win. Possibly he hoped anti Starmer will build up. What reasons have others got for the delay?
