Is JK Rowling pushing the boundaries too far?

Personally I think women in general are incredible and amazing and have been doing a fantastic job for years working towards equality... It's just sadly some have gone a little too far past equality and into... Something else

Unfortunately there are still women who discriminate against women of other races, religions, cultures, class and LGBTQ

It is sad

"If you mean that you cannot bully or harass a person because of your protected beliefs then, I cannot help you" That is EXACTLY what some (I repeat SOME) transwomen are doing to "ordinary women" - harassing them and even cancelling them for saying what they believe is true, and what the vast bulk of other ordinary people also believe is true. That vast majority is largely keeping its head below the parapet for fear of having blown off.

Note well here - I DO NOT SAY THAT ALL TRANS PEOPLE ARE DOING THIS, only that some do.

Note also that we do not hear about TRANSMEN doing this to "ordinary" men. I wonder why that should be? Why are there no heated discussions about the rights and privileges of men that have been claimed by predatory women pretending to be men?

I usually reflect that is says more about the person chanting bigot than it does about myself. In my experience those who are sure of their own 'goodness' tend to be people to be wary of.

Oh I have shared my views on how to do that many many times

Unfortunately I was told that it's not up to women to resolve these issues and they shouldn't have to come up with solutions that protect everyone's rights so I gave up

We know why we get accused of being bigots on these threads VS, it's an attempt to silence us which fortunately never succeeds.

Still as some of you seem happy to let a two year old decide let's go with that. All gender will now be designated by two year olds, It's about as logical as judging you can always be certain who is a transwoman.

My 2yo GS certainly talks more sense than Some People on this thread.

What's illegal? We can say women's toilets are only to be used by females, no males however they identify to use them. Of course transmen would be free to use them but we don't have to legally compel transmen to use them too. If men don't want transmen in their spaces they can lobby for a law preventing that.
You've openly said an athlete with a DSD who is biologically male with all the attendant advantage male puberty brings should still be able to compete and win against women in sport. I wonder why that inequality doesn't bother you one iota...........

Well that just shows how easy it is to get stuck in a trap of justifying your own behaviour while refusing to believe it does any harm to other ordinary people

Discrimination is the unjust and prejudicial treatment of females by some TIM and TRA.
Your mention of rights and privileges shows that you know exactly what some TIM are trying to do.
Your inability/unwillingness to explain your ordinary people is an avoidance tactic like that used by the Scottish bill.

I could added something to what I said in my previous post ("Whatever the source, she {a DSD athlete raised as a female who later shows to be naturally producing abnormal amounts of testosterone] is in the same leaky boat as someone whose coach was feeding her testosterone pills and telling her that they were vitamins - she has an unfair advantage over her fellow competitors due to the presence of a banned substance. That is heartbreaking for anyone who has just discovered it, but the regulation is still being broken.")

The trainer would then be subject to disciplinary action - so those who had facilitated the transition of a male athlete to a female one must surely also be guilty of aiding and abetting the use of banned substances in achieving sporting success.

As any man is now able to put on a dress and demand to be acknowledged as a women, I would be grateful if you could tell us what rights and privileges women have left?

How do you know they are ordinary?

What do your ordinary people do?

My ordinary people may well fantasise about a different lifestyle, but they don’t harm others by doing so.

My ordinary people do not lie or cheat their way into other’s places, whether that be homes (like squatters) or any other places that specifically exclude them, e.g. female safe spaces, female hospital wards (especially MH wards), female sporting activities or accept awards that are not rightfully theirs.
