the problem is, having done what he did he is shown as being a man lacking in moral courage and resolve, and would you really want your children/grandchildren in the care of a teacher who is known to crumble when under pressure.
No Some children at secondary level can be very cruel too, if they suspect a chink in the armour. He wouldn't last half a term.
Callistemon, maybe you’ve never had a long relationship with a gay hairdresser . By relationship, I mean as a client, well having your hair cut … see how easy it is to confuse things 😂
Callistemon that does surprise me because you are usuall very knowledgeable and aware. I have known about it since it was launched because it was discussed in the paper on online news.

There are plenty of other jobs in education that do not require this quality.

What struck me is the lack of social awareness. If anybody asked me for the phone number of a friend/a colleague etc I’d always ask permission of that person first. Surely that’s just common good manners?
This. Everybody knows what grindr is for and to not realise the consequences of using such an app is ridiculously stupid. Should he be allowed out alone without a minder and can he tie his own shoelaces?
There are plenty of menial jobs where sensitive information is not involved, more likely he will get a job in the city where leaking information is a way of life.
So no-one thinks that Wragg might have learned his lesson?
Using the criteria of 'might give out confidential information' makes him effectively unemployable anywhere.
I have no idea if he's learned his lesson. What I do know is that if I were on an interview panel for a teacher, I would have to ask the compulsory safeguarding questions and I'd want some evidence that he could be trusted with confidential information.
If a teacher gave out confidential details of colleagues to total strangers on a dodgy website and those colleagues received unsolicited messages and intimate photos then I would expect that teacher to be subject to disciplinary measures and even dismissal.
Not only colleagues' details, but teachers have access to all sorts of pupils' personal details. I would be extremely wary of employing anybody who didn't recognise the confidential nature of those details.

Thanks vegansrock. It's not often I'm speechless but it was late at night!
And possibly confidential details of pupils too.
We do expect teachers and those in charge of young people to adhere to a moral code. We know it doesn't always happen but it is probable that it's more likely than with MPs.
vegansrock precisely. Thank you for your succinct answer. And you too Callistemon. I fear Maisie is being disingenuous or downright argumentative! 😂 I didn't bother to reply because, 'frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.'
I'm being both. But if you can't be bothered to explain it's OK by me.
