And calling people a "loser" is so juvenile. It's how children and teenagers talk to each other, or about each other.
I had some admiration for her, for what she's achieved, but that's seriously diminished.
I have admiration for how she has achieved what she has so far, after her difficult start in life. She's obviously got drive, ambition and must be clever. However, she often shows her lack of education.
Reuters Boris Johnson has a long record of controversial comments about women, gay people and ethnic minorities. He has called gay men "bumboys," and compared Muslim women to "letterboxes." In one column he labeled black Africans "piccaninnies" with "watermelon smiles." He suggested that Malaysian women only go to university "to find men to marry."

I have had enough of silk purses in the last fourteen years to last me a lifetime, bring on the sows ears. I donāt think the electorate really cares if Rayner is ānot ladylikeā and makes the genteel harumph into their handkerchiefs, they just want a government that will deliver, and they like her - in fact they probably like her more than they like the vast majority of politicians.
Is it because she says them with a northern accent?
But half of us didn't hear her say it, we just read it on here, so we wouldn't know about the accent? WHAT she said is is not appropriate. I don't dislike her, but I dislike derogatory comments about anyone's physical appearance. I might be wrong, but I think in France there is a fine if politicians do this.
The trouble with this kind of pathetic insult is that it ruined the argument she was putting against no-fault evictions. The silly remark killed her cause in parliament to-day.
So we shouldnāt have politicians whoāve been dealt a very poor hand in life but have managed to pull themselves up by sheer hard work and determination? They seem the best sort to me.
I admire her, for what itās worth. I heard a talk she gave at our local literature festival last year and she got a huge ovation (and no, I donāt think we were all raving lefties). She came over as sincere, passionate, intelligent and determined to improve the lot of the poorest in society - and sheās certainly been there, done that.
Iād never condone picking on peopleās physical appearances - she needs to work on that. Though I do have a pint-sized DH and a pint-sized DD and it made them laugh. Believe me, theyāve heard a lot worse.
She has her place, but itās not on the world stage.
I recall that when we recently discussed AR a comparison was made with Alan Johnson, who had had a terrible childhood but made himself into a good politician who could talk to anyone. A thoroughly decent and honourable man. She should take a leaf from his book. When she gets going the gutter is still very much in evidence.
