I've just watched it and it horrifies me that Angela Raynor could be representing our country on the world stage as Deputy Prime Minister if Labour gets elected. Shocking.

She loves the insults doesn't she, I remember she called someone scum in the House of Commons, perhaps she should take a long hard look in the mirror she is after all under police investigation.

Or, as the police put it, there are some allegations "knocking about" which they're said does not mean that she has actually acted illegally.

I haven’t seen it (yet) but I like her bluntness, but to “lose it”, and not be in control is just unprofessional, she is, after all, at work!

An excellent PMQ for Angela. She totally outflanked and flummoxed poor Dowden with her opening remarks. Dowden clearly had no plan B and flailed his way through. Some on here need to watch again with a degree of objectivity.

You really need to have seen how she conducted herself throughout. It really wasn’t great. Starmer must be wincing.

Actually, although I’m no fan of either of them, I can remember Johnson calling Jeremy Corbyn a ‘mutton-headed old mugwump’ as well - and refusing to apologise except ‘to mugwumps everywhere’. Tell me that is not equally or more insulting?
As PMQ insults were Johnson’s trademark PMQ behaviour it’s a bit rich criticising a Labour politician for giving it back - but, oh no, it’s Angela Rayner so she must deserve it. Really?
As I said before, I don’t like politicians trading insults at PMQ wherever it’s coming from, but there should be some reflection on double standards here.

But what Rayner said is different. An insult about soneone’s like of height. It’s real. So it’s unacceptable.

It’s not simply the insult, it’s her inability to act like a Deputy Prime Minister and command respect on the world stage. She hasn’t got what it takes and shows no sign of trying to improve on that.
