International law does cover Russia, but for some reason unknown to me, when Russia breaks international law, many people don’t get upset about it. They pass it by, it’s not important.
It’s only important when Israel makes a mistake. Netanyahu has said the fires were a tragic mistake. However, Israel have been warning the civilians to leave Rafah for weeks. They have been told to leave because the Israelis will be moving in to try to find the hostages, who they believe are in Rafah, and to root out the remaining Hamas fighters who are holed up in Rafah.
This is war. Do you think there were no casualties during the push into Germany? D Day was 6th June 1944. Germany capitulated on 8th May 1945. How many innocents died during that year? That’s what happens in war. No one can fight a war without very sad civilian deaths. It is sad, it’s more than sad, especially when it’s children suffering. It’s heartbreaking, but so was 07/10. And so are around 100 hostages, many of them young women. Did you see the video of those terrified girls, being threatened with rape by Hamas fighters? Maybe that doesn’t bother everyone, I don’t know. Can you imagine the terror those girls live in every day? Or don’t you want to? It’s terrible for the civilian population to be living in a state of war, but Israel will finish the job. There must always be blame when there’s war, and the blame falls on the shoulders of the aggressors. Hamas are the aggressors and continue to be the aggressors by holding on to the hostages and continuing to fight back and firing rockets into Israel. The solution is in the hands of Hamas.
