Just that really.

Nothing is proven about Rayners son!!!!

If they are both parenting the child, yes I do. They should be instilling values into the child. The values instilled into this young man are highly questionable.

There are students to augment their income by being sex workers - up market of course.

Wasn't it the tightening up of tax avoidance/evasion protocols that really prompted BEXIT?

Exactly. The EU was bringing in stricter rules as the UK left (31/01/2020)

There's some cod awful rumours about.

MissAdventure Thu 30-May-24 18:37:43

Slippery customers.

zakouma66 Thu 30-May-24 18:16:43

Those greedy trout , always on the make.

MissAdventure Thu 30-May-24 18:09:31

Snouts? smile
Sorry, I'm not a corrector.
Iy made me smile though.

To be honest, I wouldn’t feel too happy to be robbed, at knifepoint, by anyone.

I’ve been poor, but I’ve never robbed anyone.

But, I can’t get as excited about an allegation of low rent fraud as I do about the already-rich just sticking their trouts further in the trough.

MissAdventure Thu 30-May-24 17:28:50

I'd feel much more kindly towards someone who was in a desperate situation than I would some greedy git.

MissAdventure Thu 30-May-24 17:27:38

A crime is a crime.
It's like saying someone is a little bit pregnant.

The details are what's important, surely?

There may be mitigating factors but not degrees of culpability, the crime is still the same. ‘Fiddling’ is embezzlement , as is ‘swindling’. You might use different words but you can’t change the law.

Well, yes. But taking crime to extremes, a long abused wife killing her husband is generally viewed and sentenced, differently to a random killer.

Common sense.🤷‍♀️

That’s what I mean about mitigation, it’s the same crime but mitigation may lessen the sentence.

I wonder if anyone here who was robbed at knifepoint would think it somehow a lesser crime if the perpetrator was poor?

MissAdventure Thu 30-May-24 17:21:04

Wrongly assumed.

eazybee Thu 30-May-24 17:07:13

Actually GSM I do not think the crime IS the same! Someone strapped for cash fiddling a small amount to me is nothing like a powerful individual swindling millions, meaning that the vulnerable suffer.

Theft is theft and everything stolen belongs to someone else, whether an individual or a corporation, who then has to make up the loss.

The confusion about Rayner's exact principal residence came because her second and third sons were born in 2007 and 2008 and registered at the council house she was purchasing in 2007, and presumably inhabiting. She married their father Mark Rayner, in 2010 and re-registered them at his house to legitimise them. It was assumed that became her principal residence.
Those living in glass houses are foolish to throw stones.

Of course we have to talk about Foreign Affairs. Our trading and financial futures, our political relationships with other countries - we don't exist in a separate bubble away from the rest of the world!

Some people still have the “Empire” and “Commonwealth” mentality.

No, you’re right, in any “crime” there are degrees of culpability.

Doodledog I don’t understand quite what you are expecting me to say. All I know is that I don’t have any friends or associates with links to the sex trade. I don’t expect senior politicians of any hue to be making money out of pornography nor do I expect members of their families to do the same. Forgive my innocence ……. This is how I feel.

I'm just expecting you to back up what you say, rather than make vague and unsubstantiated accusations about LP values being linked to porn, AR making money from it, 'family political views' and so on. Is that asking a lot?

Andrew isn't even earning a living.

He’s living, partly, off of taxpayers money, and expected to behave in a fitting way.

The Queen gave him £12 million to keep all this quiet. I’ve not noticed Rayner trying to do the same.

There is no proof of that.

Prince Andrew isn’t standing for political office.

He’s still living off of public funds.

And Rayners son and DIL aren’t standing for office.🤷‍♀️
