Undines not a question of making money out of your son’s choice of a living. To my way of thinking Angela Rayner has made known her very difficult early family circumstances. All credit to her for that but what exactly are the consequences of such a haphazard early childhood? Is Angela Rayner best equipped to handle a position of responsibility and power? So for me, Oliver Dowden is looking positively normal if a tad boring as deputy prime minister and boring wins.

I’m surprised that anyone on this site seriously blames parents for what their adult children do, or judges their political competence on that basis. We can do better than that. History is jam packed with instances of kids gone bad from the best of upbringings

GSM is perfectly right- great pity she is criticised on this thread - great pity more people don’t listen to her. She has the facts - put succinctly- she is criticised for being a Tory - what she says is not political- it is simply the law.
