Urmstongran

What’s the point of the vote then if he can just ignore it? How embarrassing to be him. Is Wales is the blueprint for Starmer in the UK.?

I’d say the Welsh Government has introduced some policies which are further left than Starmer will go, and some which will be adopted UK wide. I don’t think it’s the blueprint in that sense, for devolved matters it is independent.

Seriously though Urmstongran, don’t just read the Telegraph to get a balanced view of what’s happening.

Hmm. Yet Labour are always calling for others 'to do the right thing' at the smallest tittle-tattle, yet a vote of no confidence.... “I'll just ignore it.”
🤣

I don’t know. The blueprint for the Tories here is just to replace one leader with another..🙄

Apparently, he hasn’t got to resign though.

He’s suggested that racism has played a part in the whole debacle but surely the same questions would have been asked had it been Drakeford doing something similar?

The Telegraph Casdon. 🤣

That said, wonder if Gething was at all concerned with how he treated Hannah Blythyn or many others before her.

He has reaped what he sowed in my opinion. I wouldn’t say he was a particularly close ally of Starmer though, where did that suggestion come from?

Oh dear.

Vaughan Gething has lost a no confidence vote in the Welsh Senedd in a fresh blow for Labour.

The First Minister of Wales, a close ally of Sir Keir Starmer, was under pressure to resign over a series of scandals during his short stint in office.

He’s not been the FM long!
