What a pity the BBC did not ignore Farage during the years leading up to the EU referendum when he appeared on Question Time no less than 29 times.

The Brexit Broadcasting Corporation have a lot to answer for.

Pity Farage didnt go to america to join Trump! I was a lecturer and teacher and the pair of them make me think of infants . At that age they think if they put their hands over their ears and keep repeating the mantra "I'm not listening to you" and can ignore what is happening, or refuse to do what they have been asked to do. Alternatively they shut their eyes, so that they can pretend that the world is as they want it not how it actually is! But of course they cant manage to be together as they are both that child that shouts the loudest "CHOOSE ME " "CHOOSE ME" so if Farage appears on the box if I am waiting for a programme to come on I hit the mute button , or turn over to another channel , or seeing him or Trump remind me that I had better go to the loo!! Ignoring Farrage is the very best thing we could all do , as he would hate to know that he is ignored, dismissed, and of no consequence to any decent person. (I have thought though that we could use his name as an insult. So , to be able to say to someone showing off, or behaving badly, just say "Stop being a Farrage!!" Perhaps that could be a new word for the oxford dictionary!! I mean Trump already has another meaning so we could have Farrage to join him.

Good grief!
I’m speechless.

I'm not! They are all on the make, just like their leader. Who is it again?

Farage has had a difficult time in Red Wall Barnsley:

Yet another ”sensible” Reform candidate then.🙄

And ( oh my!) , Cossy could you be...a woman, as well as a " pompous leftie"?
Mr Gribben won't be happy with you at all.

Cossy Mon 10-Jun-24 14:31:45

Mmmm food for thought. I think the issue is that with divisive leaders come extremists and hopefully the electorate in his constituency will send him a sharp message by not voting for him.

I’ll make no further comment for fear of being accused of being a “pompous leftie” grin

There is another thread on this topic so I suggest we go with that

I believe they should have withdrawn this candidate.

In addition, Farage and Putin

"Nigel Farage has suggested that the West should be more open to negotiating with Vladimir Putin."

the telegraph has a fuller article but has a paywall.

A Reform UK candidate claimed the country would be "far better" if it had "taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality" instead of fighting the Nazis in World War Two.
Ian Gribbin, the party's candidate in Bexhill and Battle, also wrote online that women were the "sponging gender" and should be "deprived of health care".
