I’ve pinched this question from James O’Brian. And to me it is obvious, - they are fascists - talking about replacing the police with paramilitaries and bringing back the death penalty as well as shoot f….g immigrants has huge echoes of 1930s Germany.
So why would you vote for him?

JudyBloom I’m not going to waste my time quoting your post because it’s so ridiculous. I don’t think you really believe the things in your post - it’s a wind up!

When people say Farage speaks for the silent majority what they really mean is, he is validating what they think.

At last Sunak is going for Farage - being called a f….g paki by Farage’s campaigner - not before
Just hang on, aren't they now saying there are actors voicing these things to try and discredit Reform? In this day of fake news and AI we need to be very careful that things are what they seem. It would be easy to cause confusion.

is this a question that needs to be asked? Farage comes over as a loud mouthed oaf, and like attracts like.
The difference between Farage and his followers is that he is a very astute and clever man and knows exactly what he is doing. how far he can go and how to monetise who he is. His followers are just stupid loud mouthed oafs.
😀😀 you are brave!!

I’m surprised that Farage gets so much tv/media coverage.
I'm not. He's the only politician making this election interesting to the media.
Tories are on their way out.
Labour is sitting back watching the tories dig holes for themselves.
A loud mouthed charlatan is much more interesting...
Time😀

Right wing - conservatives
Left wing - Labour
Middle - Lib Dem’s
Radical - greens
Off the wall - Reform and The Workers Party
I’m surprised that Farage gets so much tv/media coverage. He pointed out earlier, some of those exposed by the ch4 sting were recent volunteers, whose views he doesn’t share. He wondered if the volunteers supporting other parties might also have unacceptable views.
I'm horrified that Leslie Lilley has been allowed to remain as a Reform Candidate!
check out what he's said

Because he is one Like attracts like
chestnut we have a right wing party for balance they are called the Tory party.
I don’t want a party that attracts the sort of people we witnessed on ch4.
They are disgusting.
Many gay people view stonewall as homophobic at the moment.

So why would you vote for him?Why would you not want a right wing party for balance?
Don't you find it very disappointing that these people are damaging that balance by their extreme far right rhetoric?
Or are you so insecure that you can't cope with a right wing party at all? Everything must be left wing or extreme left wing.
I am supporting Starmer - would you see him as extreme left?
Can I politely correct something upthread?
"Why is someone who does not accept Stonewalls teachings and values to young children a homophobe?"
a homophobe is someone who is anti-gay nothing to do with all the Stonewall stuff.

I find it truly shocking that some people have it in for Nigel Farage. He speaks for the silent majority in this country. He is not racist in any shape or form. He is the only one to tell the truth of what is really going on - the poisoning of our way of life, the indoctrination of our children, all the woke idealogy, killing our democracy and decency and he is the only one who has the guts to challenge it and put the British people first, whatever their creed or colour. It is an absolute disgrace that the establishment disparage him. He is not far right. People need to be educated. Well done Nigel !
What I find truly shocking is this statement!
So full of propaganda and half-truths.
“Poisoning our way of life” ?
I don’t think it’s us that need “educating”.
Well done for swallowing all of good old Nige’s very well performed orating.
He’s a player, if you cannot recognise this more fool you. He plays on our fears and insecurity, he’s divisive, manipulative and very clever.
It would be amusing were it not so serious and tragic!
You almost sound like a “flat-earther”.

So why would you vote for him?It is very similar to what happened in Nazi Germany. Hitler used Jews as scapegoats for the problems in society at the time and Reform are using Muslims. Reform supporters are grossly exaggerating and scaremongering saying Muslims will take over our society and introduce Sharia law, all this from 6% of the population. At that time we had Oswald Mosley propagating the ideology and now we have Nigel Farage. I just hope the majority of voters aren’t taken in by it.
'It' refers to what? A few crazy people spouting hate does not mean we are living through Nazi Germany again. You should be watching what goes on with George Galloway and his cronies if you want something to worry about.
‘It’ refers to the whole Nigel Farage fiasco, hundreds of people queueing up to hear him speak and paying £5 for the privilege. People believing the ridiculous and unachievable claims of changes he will instigate which will miraculously transform the country. Galloway is insignificant, most people don’t even know who he is.

Those he speaks for are not ^the majority and they are far from silent.Good god! The silent majority? I sincerely hope not! I know not even ONE person personally who supports Farage or Reform UK.
Those that do support him publicly, ie in the media or social media, are far from silent.
I didn't say that!!!
