Because it’s how they operate. As I said earlier, they wanted it to be a migrant or a Muslim or both but, if it wasn’t they were going to riot anyway. They just look for excuses.

I think it is incomprehensible for some people that an individual born in the UK could plan and carry out the most horrific attacks and murders of innocent little girls in Southport.

Unfortunately - as people have agendas and put out false news it's necessary to counter the false news. After that, police have to conduct due process before revealing further information.

Remember the woman whose car ran into the school? It took some considerable time to establish that she had had some kind seizure at the wheel.

Sometimes the information can be related very quickly.......sometimes the information if released endangers family members close to the attacker and measures have to be taken first....

NF should have questioned the doubtful source by checking the X account, which took very little time to do, before posting at all. He knows the world of social media all too well.

I checked the X tweet channel as soon as it emerged and it was full of Islamaphobia and racist memes from UK and USA.

Secondly, check what the police were saying, given the appalling murders, and consider the possible effect for the families and their community.

The answer to that is I don't know. I know that as a centrist lefty who I am fairly sure is not against immigration what with being the daughter of an immigrant, I thought the coverage by the BBC was entirely predictable, and was playing a game. I didnt trust it gir a moment, but that might be to do with my distrust of the BBC in general.

How truely awful we have become. Those poor little children and families. And here we are discussing skin colour.

NF suggested that if the public had been told more about the perpetrator the riots would not have gone ahead and TE agreed with him. They both blamed social media where so much false stuff was said for making people surmise things.
