It does feel as though we are in capable hands. Given that the government has only been in power for a month (less, when this all started) it would have been understandable if they had floundered a bit, but they didn't. I'm sure that KS's many years of experience working with anti-terrorism people will have stood him in good stead.
This may not be over yet, but I feel more confident than I did that even if it's not the organisers will be brought to justice. I also hope that some of the unfairnesses that have led to the generalised discontent that allowed this to spread will be lessened. That can't happen quickly, as the country has been left in such a mess, but if we can be patient and give the government a chance, I am hopeful for the future.
