Sir Keir will mark 100 days in power this weekend. I think they’ve had an abysmal start. One thing after another. And Sue Grey hasn’t helped either by becoming such a focus of attention. Let’s hope the Budget on 30th October is inspiring.

Check out college lectures and medical journals on Hubris Syndrome. It is all mentioned there.

Also, the biggest area of lies told by politicians is about their own health.

It's all speculation.

Some very uninformed statements here about bipolar. I agree with Bipolar UK’s response.
If BJ had bipolar you would definitely know about it. You don’t need Lord Owen to tell you.

Okie Dokie.
I'll leave Lord Owen in peace, though he has many a true story to tell!

Glad to see the bipolar accusation has been exposed.
Just like all the 'diagnoses' of autism, ADHD, dementia, mental health issues et al.
Did not know there was a 'syndrome' for hubris; vindication for the Ancient Greeks!

I don’t believe he has a defined mental health condition, but he lives with the burden of grandiosity.

Not to the extent he does, believing he is the next Churchill. Or if they do, they aren’t admitting to it.

What a load of arrogant speculation on here tonight.

Unfortunately I think, language around serious MH differences has entered everyday speech.
If you or family are genuine, you most certainly do know about it every minute of every day.
Its not something you can dip in and out of.
Very sorry for those here who have suffered.

Sorry for your loss Anniebach.
My father was bipolar and drowned himself, his father before him took his life too, triggered by life changing events.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 12-Oct-24 18:33:22

Anniebach (((hugs)))

Anniebach life can be hard, 💐 I know what it is to have that constant underlying worry about someone very close ,it is not a thing you would wish on anyone. It is always good to see your posts on here.

I’ve told you before Annie, but I’ll say it again, I’m so very sorry for your loss. Losing a child must be the worst pain flowers
