I wonder if he reached the maximum 90 days in the EU limit and couldn’t remain? Probably not that, but it would be deliciously ironic if it was….

He’s been living as an immigrant for some time, hasn’t he? I forget where, but as he believes people should reside in the country of their birth maybe his conscience kicked in?

Did he come on a small boat?

Reports are his supporters raised £87,000 to fight his 'legal battle'.

Then he pleaded guilty...will he return the money?wink

Of course he won't. Most of it probably went up his nose, if you watch him gurning, sniffing and twitching it's obvious that Columbian marching powder is involved. I think he had to return because of Schengen and the fact that his Irish passport may have been rescinded due to lies told when it was issued. Allegedly.

Sky News; good in my opinion.

I agree. Steven Yaxley-Lennon is a massive liar and grifter.

I’d love to know what prompted him to come forward of his own volition.

Wanted to return to UK?

Right. Well let’s see how long those thugs who broke a police woman’s nose and attacked police officers at Manchester airport get. Not to mention that Labour MP who violently attacked one of his constituents.

Who has been immediately suspended I believe. We now have a government that acts swiftly if one of their own transgresses.

He has been ordered to pay costs of £80,350.82. (its all in the full report alluded to by Doodledog)

I'm not a fan of his but feel he's often used as a scapegoat.

Fantastic news: this far right home grown terrorist is off the streets and SM.

"Tommy Robinson jailed after admitting contempt of court by repeating false allegation about Syrian refugee"

Time to take him off the streets 👏

The headline pinged on my phone when I was out earlier.

Good news, IMO too, Jaxjacky. As the judge said, nobody is above the law. The young man he libelled in the form of an 90 minute documentary of lies has had some sort of justice, and Yaxley-Lennon has been granted the opportunity to take 4 months off his sentence if he removes the lies from his social media. It will be interesting to see whether he does so or not.

Does that excuse Tommy Robinson?

Sky News; good in my opinion.

Wrong. The danger from ""terrorists" are those walking on our capitals streets. Hidden in plain sight.
