Sky News; good in my opinion.

Wrong. The danger from ""terrorists" are those walking on our capitals streets. Hidden in plain sight.

BlueBelle Mon 28-Oct-24 15:44:06

Hooray, one of the nastiest dangerous men walking free
Hope its a long sentence

Nonnato2 Mon 28-Oct-24 15:44:19

Right. Well let’s see how long those thugs who broke a police woman’s nose and attacked police officers at Manchester airport get. Not to mention that Labour MP who violently attacked one of his constituents.

Does that excuse Tommy Robinson?

The headline pinged on my phone when I was out earlier.

Good news, IMO too, Jaxjacky. As the judge said, nobody is above the law. The young man he libelled in the form of an 90 minute documentary of lies has had some sort of justice, and Yaxley-Lennon has been granted the opportunity to take 4 months off his sentence if he removes the lies from his social media. It will be interesting to see whether he does so or not.

Fantastic news: this far right home grown terrorist is off the streets and SM.

"Tommy Robinson jailed after admitting contempt of court by repeating false allegation about Syrian refugee"

Time to take him off the streets 👏

Casdon Mon 28-Oct-24 15:52:16

I’d love to know what prompted him to come forward of his own volition.

Dee1012 Mon 28-Oct-24 15:56:23

Reports are his supporters raised £87,000 to fight his 'legal battle'.

Then he pleaded guilty...will he return the money?wink

LadyGracie Mon 28-Oct-24 15:57:37

I'm not a fan of his but feel he's often used as a scapegoat.

Wyllow3 Mon 28-Oct-24 16:00:07

He has been ordered to pay costs of £80,350.82. (its all in the full report alluded to by Doodledog)

Who has been immediately suspended I believe. We now have a government that acts swiftly if one of their own transgresses.

Wanted to return to UK?

I agree. Steven Yaxley-Lennon is a massive liar and grifter.

Doodledog Mon 28-Oct-24 16:13:58

He’s been living as an immigrant for some time, hasn’t he? I forget where, but as he believes people should reside in the country of their birth maybe his conscience kicked in?

Of course he won't. Most of it probably went up his nose, if you watch him gurning, sniffing and twitching it's obvious that Columbian marching powder is involved. I think he had to return because of Schengen and the fact that his Irish passport may have been rescinded due to lies told when it was issued. Allegedly.

Did he come on a small boat?

Casdon Mon 28-Oct-24 16:16:21

I wonder if he reached the maximum 90 days in the EU limit and couldn’t remain? Probably not that, but it would be deliciously ironic if it was….

Galaxy Mon 28-Oct-24 16:18:53

So if it can be shown that Robinson doesnt use cocaine should IOMgran serve some time for her words.

I believe he has an Irish passport (dual nationality). If that's the case, he could stay in an EU country for as long as he likes.

Maybe he fancied being a martyr.

Suspended, well that's good then, all clap Starmer. No fast track into court then, plead guilty on lawyers instructions,, sent straight to jail. Seen on video, same as Jones and Manchester thugs, but hey ho write something on social media clapped in jail within a few hours.
Guess they're not deemed "right wing thugs" by St starmer.

I wonder why he doesn’t use his own name, which is better than Tommy Robinson.🤔

Babs03 Mon 28-Oct-24 18:23:43

Another miscreant peddling hatred and violence, glad he is in prison but it won't be for long. His ideology is foul but there are some eejits who swallow it hook line and sinker.
