Are there no limits for this despicable man, who dares call himself 'man of the people'

Lots of people don’t like him, and a lot even admit to hating him. Hate is a very strong word and not one to use lightly, especially about a person that you don’t even know.
I don’t like Starmer’s policies (up to now) but I don’t hate him. I don’t know him.

Upthread I meant to write that Galaxy explained why some people like him, I meant she explained why some people don’t like him.

I haven’t heard any racist comments from him . They must’ve have been when I was asleep. I don’t like labelling people without proof .

Yes, you must have been asleep. hmm

He is not racist nanna8, its not correct to label someone as racist just because they do not want uncontrolled illegal immigration.

I don't hate him, I think he's a manipulative clever "chancer" who likes to mix with the rich and powerful and I don't think he really cares about the people who elected him at all.

I greatly distrust his courtship of Trump and Musk and think he has every intention of trying to de-stabilise our country for political gain.

Politically he's in a position to promise much but not having to deliver.

You cynic!

He's going to invite Trump and Musk to have tea with him in Jaywick.

Parliament was in conference recess from 13/09/24 - 06/10/24

At leat he wasn’t missing from the H of P

Has anyone got a link to his speech? I would like to hear what he actually said, before condemning him (that doesn’t mean I support him by the way)

Wyllow3 Fri 29-Nov-24 08:57:38

😏 True.

I cant think of anything I could write that wouldn't be moderated about this greedy, self serving occasion - encouraging the people who could be paying their fair share of tax, the super rich, to avoid it, and picking up a nice £40k.

So much for the nice family man who is going to save us..... how can people defend him?

Hmmmmm….. Would I be correct in thinking you don’t actually like Nigel Farage? 😏

Yes, he was an MP when he spoke at the conference GrannyGravy13, it was September 25th-28th this year

He was paid £40k for it!

He is very entertaining and a really good speaker which is more than you can say for the Labour lot. You wouldn’t want him to be PM but he is a good opposition speaker. After listening to him I’m actually starting to like him ( a bit ) . He certainly inspires hatred on here which is enough to make me see what he is about. Never seen so many nasty comments.

Because he’s a racist nanna8. And some of us don’t like racists.

Because they vote consistently for reductions in immigration and consistently dont get what they vote for. So when that happens people look to people like Farage.

Galaxy understood and gave the answer as to why some people like him on the first page.

I see that Judybloom refers to escaping global control I’m afraid that ship sailed when the silicone chip was developed.

Yes, it does rather, especially if matters follow the path of the Cambridge article theorists (some might say conspiracy theorists)

The article proposes a whole number of possible scenarios where both state (as in some kind of tyranny unspecified as right or left) and individual "Actors" (as in Musk or similar)

have the possibility of various means of population control, (including planted chips in human beings) some scenarios are predicated on some kind of global disaster (climate or Covid type overwhelming the world)...

I could go on but I fail to see how Farage is somehow the saviour in this scenario, indeed, it stretches credulity to its limits, particularly since a state control situation could be far right?

ronib Thu 28-Nov-24 23:39:15

What I fail to understand is how did so many people become multi millionaires?

Here we go again, trying to find something to disparage Nigel Farage! If you watched his conferences and meetings you might realise he is the only chance we have of escaping gobal control. Some people need to wake up to what is happeing. NIgel stands for the Family, common sense and putting the British people first, unlike the tyrants we have in power at the moment - God help us all!

Farage is not PM, he should be spending far more time in his constituency and in Westminster.

This isn’t the Nigel Farage Show, however much his supporters would like it to be!

Well, that’s the heading of the thread….
Farage is actually the first word ..

Good grief

I googled Global Control and got garage door controllers. I googled great reset and got something about a post covid plan.

I must just thank you, Wyllow3

What is this "global control"? Never heard of it.

I think, but I might be mistaken, that this might be a part of the “great reset”

I honestly don't have a clue what this is all about.

Perhaps JudyBloom would be kind enough to explain it for us?

(Though I think I asked her to on another thread and got no response)

So you would be happy for British citizen being able to buy other nationalities, in order to not pay due taxes in the UK?

How does facilitating such things make him 'a man of the people' and the 'farmer's best friend'?

If he was a speaker at one of the conferences before he was elected as a constituency MP, then it is his business, not that I approve.

If he is going to speak at the next conference whilst being a sitting MP then it should be a matter for the parliamentary ethics committee.

Yes, he was an MP when he spoke at the conference GrannyGravy13, it was September 25th-28th this year.

and he certainly was NOT in Clacton, where he is paid to do a job, rather than being paid lots of money for promoting tax avoidance (evasion).

GrannyGravy13 Thu 28-Nov-24 19:29:59

Casdon in that case the parliamentary ethics committee should definitely be looking at this.
