Just interested, there isn’t any evidence to suggest that NF shares anything with TR including ‘ the same political beliefs’ so where are you coming at this from?
Like him or loathe him NF just this morning told Laura Kuennsberg that he doesn’t agree with Elon Musk about Robinson and wasn’t afraid to say so even if that meant annoying Musk, which it evidently did.Tbh I think NF should distance himself from Musk as much as possible.

Could it really be as petty as Farage not immediately agreeing with Musk on Robinson? Surely more to it than that?

Musk is an expert in various technologies and has a legion of admirers who appear to think that the vast wealth his expertise has given him equates to a super-intelligence.

His money has given him a voice via his platform. Why should anyone listen to him anymore than any other tech-wizzard? And why does he appear to think we should?

If he had the capacity for critical-thinking, and if he understood British political and cultural life, he would understand exactly why Farage has distanced himself from Robinson.

NannyJan I did understand from their manifesto at election time that one plank of their education plan is for government to tell universities what they may/ may not teach ( possibly related to their " anti woke" agenda)
I found the idea of Mr L Anderson setting the curriculum for universities amusing, but a little alarming - self knowledge seems missing from his party.

The manifesto (contract) on which people voted has been withdrawn, as it was described as Liz Truss on stilts. So imagine that snd you get an idea of their economic policy.

I don’t know what Refirm would be without Farage in charge though, it’s his baby, the frontman, and he is personally the reason why so many like Reform. I don’t think Musk understands that.

That's one policy that I agree with too.
The bank reserves that the BoE pays interest on are money that was created by the BoE in the first place. The rationale for paying interest on reserves is that they are deposit accounts with the BoE. As the commercial banks didn't actually make the deposits the interest payments are completely free, unearned profit for the banks, used to pay equally unearned excessive bankers' salaries and bonuses.
The economic ramifications IMO are that it takes some bricks out of the government's 'we can't afford it' wall.
