Why would she have been eligible?

You can pay for it at most pharmacies if you are not in the cohort for a free one.

She’s said she regrets not having the jab.

Yes, she was silly not not have it.

It seems to be a nasty flu bug this year that's affecting many. The hospitals are struggling with an influx of flu victims.
Hope Carrie feels better very soon.

Goodness, she is young to be so poorly with that, hope she recovers soon. It shows how serious the viruses going round this winter can be.

Hope she will make a good recovery

Poor Carrie, hope she’s on the mend now.

There seems to be a dreadful strain of the flu about right now.
A few people I know have had it and one ended up in hospital like Carrie. We had the jab but people who have had the jab have reportedly got it really badly.
This cold weather with people staying indoors will only have made things worse I'm afraid.

SKY news is reporting that Carry Johnson is in hospital with flu and pneumonia.

I wish her a speedy recovery, and that she is back home with her young children soon.
