I think wait and see. I really hope he does end wars and is true to his word but I am not sure how much sway he has in places like the Middle East. I could see him removing support for Ukraine pretty quickly and that may or may not lead to some sort of settlement. I feel more confident in him than Biden in regard to world peace but not so sure about how he will go in certain parts of the USA, particularly the previous Democrat strongholds.

Nobody knows exactly what he signed. He became president so he could pardon himself of crimes, get retribution on people he thought wronged him and make money of course. I've always thought he'd rather be playing golf(or cheating at golf) than be president which is too much work. All this nonsense about lowering prices and invading Panama is just that, nonsense.

Exactly !!! It may have passed some by but on the eve of his inauguration he and Melania debuted their crypto currency to the markets . This will just be another opportunity to make money off the presidency !

I don't know if Mexico benefits from this but if they don't and Trump decides to go full on deporting, then Mexico should do the same with the Americans. My friend actually liked being part of Mexican life, she went to a Mexican church etc but a lot of mothers kept to themselves in their expat community

One thing I do agree with Trump about is a hatred of war. He said it

I don't think for a moment Trump is going to be able to carry out the "deport all" policy. I think crucial parts of the economy are tied in with them, I think there will be resistance to tearing some families apart (which is what it means, when children are US citizens and parents are not). Whats he going to do? round up and dump over the border in Mexico? Even if they have come from other countries?

I'm very sad he's going to end diversity policies in the military. God knows how many years it's taken to end the prejudice against women and gay people.

I also think we should give Biden credit for all the years of "leg work" on the cease fire. It took unilateral agreement in the end, it had to, given a new incoming administration and the amount the USA gives to Israel, but give credit where its due.
