as he agrees to deliver a massive number of bombs for the IDF- so they can clear the country.

Are they planning the Ben Gurrion Canal yet- was it was this is all about, as some suspected a long time ago.

Call me cynical andpessimistic. Where on earth are they supposed to go?

Anniebach Fri 07-Feb-25 14:47:07

I know most Jews do not live in Israel ,

This is quite good Annie from Ann Frank House

What is an Israeli ? What is a Zionist ?

One of the Saudi princes has written to Trump (unless it's fake news) suggesting that if relocation from Gaza is happening due to the devastation, the Palestinians should be moved back to where they came from - Haifa, Jaffa, East Jerusalem.

since their properties were confiscated by Israelis and zionists it's not likely to happen sadly..

It's not a "Gaza problem" it the fate of real families. and you still haven't said how it will work when Palestinians in Gaza ave n where to go anyway.

So it’s all about profit…how wonderful.

And solving the Gaza problem, in his mind a Win Win.

Wyllow3 Thu 06-Feb-25 20:54:26

But it won't work as his plans for as Palestinians can't go to Egypt or Jordan so whats the point? Not a viable plan at all.

Exactly FGT2 !
At least Donald Trump has come up with a possible solution, plus offering to partly fund it.

Otherwise it just seems to be the inevitable hand-wringing from others.

If he develops Gaza he will fully fund it and make a good profit too.
He doesn’t have to take notice of international law there is no effective sanction.

Who has that list of countries willing to take in evicted Palestinians?
Nobody...it doesn't exist.
Can you imagine Farage's face on being told some of them could be coming here?

I’m sure the people on here who think Trump has come up with a workable plan would welcome them with open arms…

Yes this did occur!

Netanyahu would be happy with it, wouldn’t he? By all accounts he has been in discussions about this with Trump and Kushner for many months.

'A possible solution'

this is just an unbelievable, chilling and sick comment.

And yes Barleyfields, they have been planning it all behind the scenes for a very long time.

Some here will applaud Farage saying it all sounds like a good idea! Chilling to the bone.

Wanting to free the world of terrorists is a folly !

No - assuming that they would be able to do so from a land that they occupy is folly -

Consider any forcibly occupied country in the world.

Would you be surprised that there are “freedom” fighters and that it would never cease until the occupiers leave.

Mandela and the ANC are a case in point. Considered terrorists in their day.

No greater terrorists than the Chinese in Tibet...

fortunately like Mandela,Martin, Luther King and Ghandi, the Dalai Lama is also a freedom fighter..

Trump is not going to fund it per Leavit his speaker . He says all kinds of stupidity and then backs down . These are not solutions . He literally made Atlantic City into a ghost town with his ill conceived casinos . He can’t hardly promise to rebuild Gaza when S. Carolina and LA are still in ruins . No big proposals there for help yet .

JenniferEccles Thu 06-Feb-25 17:05:21

Netanyahu seems happy with it, describing it as a very generous offer.

He and his fellow countrymen will undoubtedly feel safer in their own country.

Barleyfields Thu 06-Feb-25 16:58:08

A possible solution? You must be joking.

What gets me is the media drag out all these so called Middle East experts and former peace negotiators who say how ludicrous Trumps suggestion is. Totally ignoring the fact that their previous efforts at finding peace are lying in a pile of rubble that was once Gaza…again.

So it’s ok for Trump to ignore international law ( just as he tried to ignore the results of the election he lost)?

Barleyfields Thu 06-Feb-25 16:54:40

You don’t think there’s a lot of truth in what these people say? Trump isn’t looking to find peace, he’s looking for a good property deal. I know you’re a big fan of Trump, but can you not see this for what it is?

Eh? Where? Or do you mean an apostrophe rather than a comma?

Whatever it is, it appears to have wandered off.
