This are letters from doctors and volunteers in Palestine. You won't trust them or believe them, and say they are biased. But as Journalists are not allowed by Israel, in Gaza, this is how close we can get to the truth. It is a translation.
'How did professors Daniel Baltman and Amos Goldberg write, in an article published in the newspaper Haaretz about what is happening in the Gaza strip:
It's not Auschwitz, but it's from the same family, genocide.
About the blades of what it's about, it's worth going back to the letter of 99 American medical personnel, among them Jews, who worked in the Gaza strip, saw the horrors and wrote a letter to President Biden and his deputy Harris.
Below is half of the letter as translated by our company Reut Ben-Yaakov The second half of the letter will be brought soon:
"Letter to President Biden and Vice President Harris"
An open letter from medical personnel who worked in Gaza.
October 2, 2024
Dear President Biden and Vice President Harris,
We are 99 doctors, surgeons, brothers and children who have volunteered in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. Together we worked volunteering for 254 weeks in Gaza hospitals and clinics. We've worked with a variety of NGOs and the World Health Organization in hospitals and clinics across the Strip. In addition to our expertise in medicine and surgery, many of us have a background in public health, as well as experience working in humanitarian disaster and war and conflict zones, among others in Ukraine during the brutal Russian invasion. Some of us are veterans and soldiers in the reserves. We are sons and daughters of different religions and beliefs, and we belong to diverse ethnic groups. None of us supports the atrocities committed on October 7 in Israel by armed Palestinian groups and individuals.
The Constitution of the World Health Organization states: "The health of all nations is a fundamental condition for achieving peace." And security, and it depends on the full cooperation between individuals and countries. "In this spirit we are writing you this open letter."
We are among the only neutral observers allowed to enter Gaza since October 7. Our extensive areas of expertise and our extensive experience of working in Gaza give us a unique position to offer our administration our attitudes on some particularly important matters at a time when it is set to decide whether to continue to support the Israeli assault, and siege, on the Gaza Strip. Specifically, we believe that our position allows us to address and respond to the issue of the massive harm to human life in the Israeli attack on Gaza and especially the blood cost of women and children.
The letter includes summaries of our experiences and our direct insights from Gaza. The letter is accompanied by an attachment from the port that abbreviates information available to the public from sources such as media bodies, humanitarian organizations, and academic factors regarding key aspects related to the Israeli invasion of Gaza. The letter and attachment are available online at GazaHealthcareLetters.org The site also includes letters of A. Female Canadian and British medical teams for their governments, and have many similar insights to those shown below.
The letter and the attachment present evidence indicating that the total number of mental losses since October is much higher than what is known in the United States. It is likely that the price of blood in the current conflict has already exceeded 118,908, which is most likely 5.4% of Gaza's population.
Our government must act immediately to prevent an even more terrible disaster than the one that has already struck the Palestinian and Israeli public. It is necessary to force a ceasefire on the militant sides by freezing military aid to Israel and supporting an international arms ban on israel and all Palestinian armed organizations. We believe our administration is committed to this, both subject to American law and International law. We also believe that this is the right thing to do.
"I have never seen such horrific injuries, in an order of such massive size, and when there are so few resources." Our bombs are killing women and children by the thousands. The stunned bodies are a monument to cruelty. Dr. Feroze Sidhwa, a trauma and intensive care surgeon, a general surgeon at Veterans Affairs. )
Except for a negligent minority of extraordinary, everyone in Gaza is sick, injured, or sick and injured together. This includes all the local relief workers, every volunteer from abroad, and most certainly every Israeli kidnapped: every man, woman and child. During our work in Gaza we found that our patients are malnourished, as well as our colleagues, local medical staff members. Each of us lost weight quickly in Gaza despite being over privileged and access to food, and even though we brought with us nutritional supplements and food. We really have photographed evidence of giving life-threatening nutrition among our patients, especially among children, that we want to share with you.
In fact every child. What we've seen under the age of five, in and out of the hospitals, suffering. The cough and liquid runny nose. We found cases of tuberculosis (indicating in these conditions to petitis eye) in almost every room of the hospital where we worked, as well as among many of our colleagues from the medical team. An astonishing percentage of our surgical cuts were astonished by the combination of malnutrition, impossible surgical conditions, shortage of basic sanitizing equipment such as soap, and a shortage of surgical equipment and medications, including antibiotics.
Malnutrition has caused many cases of unwanted abortions, underweight children, and the inability of new mothers to breastfeed. This leaves their children at great risk of death due to the lack of drinking water throughout Gaza. Many of these babies have died. In Gaza we saw malnourished mothers feeding their day-old babies who were born underweight in the Tamilnadu mixed with poisoned water. Never forget how the world abandoned these innocent women and babies.
"Every day I saw babies dying." They were born healthy. Their mothers suffered malnutrition to such a level that they could not breastfeed, and we had no TML and no clean water to feed them, so they starved to death. ״
Asma Taha, senior children nurse
We urge you to understand that epidemics are raging in Gaza. The ongoing and recurring Israeli deportation of the sick and malnourished population of Gaza, who crossed children, to areas where there is no supply of running water and not even homes, is absolutely horrifying. This situation will certainly lead to widespread death from viral and infectious diarrhea diseases as well as pneumonia, especially in children under the age of five. Indeed, even the threatening polio virus has appeared in Gaza due to the combination of the systematic destruction of sanitation infrastructure, welfare malnutrition weakening immune systems, and young children who have not been properly vaccinated for a year. We're worried that thousands we don't know have already died from the deadly combination of malnutrition and disease, and that tens of thousands more will die in the coming months, especially in winter when the rainy season begins. Most will be children. '
