Aside from that many of us, me included, have close family and friends living in the USA and we are rightfully concerned.

Trump is a loose canon and a dictator, not what anyone needs running one of world’s most powerful nations.

There is no evidence that he is being embraced by any of the European leaders except far right ones Rula. Nobody else is, or will ‘fall over themselves’ to embrace a regime which is against their principles and interests. They will maintain a civil working relationship of course, because that is mutually beneficial in negotiations.

On GN we inevitably get bits and pieces - on ICE raids, on Womens health, current complicated information on sacking federal employees, health care cuts, its hard to get a grasp.
