Everyone's dressed for the occasion (including the child) apart from Musk.

I have to admit though that I have a personal disdain for mature adults wearing baseball caps, so I am biased.

Yes, times change (as sometimes they should), and I accept that.

I suppose I 'miss' the art of statesmanship - the civility, diplomacy, which usually required a dress-code at events like press conferences, etc. But, at age 83, I'm probably stuck in my ways - and the tech brotherhood is a different world, anyway...

I worked in many start up tech companies and the entrepreneur CEOs were almost always like this. The kind of boys who were bullied at school and, having found a little kingdom to rule they did so with no charm or empathy. Swaggering around finding new and interesting ways to make everyone feel unsettled whilst wearing T-shirts with obscure band names on and a cap backwards.

Yes hats are worn daily by men in the US, that and jeans is our go to IMO. Not a single man with any substance would have left his hat on in the Oval Office. It is disrespectful.

I was primarily thinking of other Americans, when I used this word, which they themselves use. I would guess they would understand the type or group it has been applied to? Even if we don't.

She and Trump have gone rounds before and she has no time for his antics.

I hadn't realised Musk was being taken court on this.

I lost count of all the lawsuits filed. Last I saw there were 12 orders against Trumps illegal actions so far. Orders are coming out all over the country to stop him.

This one is specifically to get Musk and his hackers out of our personal records.

The entire Coast Guard system had a breach of direct deposit for bank accounts and the DOGE site has been hacked. Nothing they have done is secure. We want thier hands off our info.

Appatently Musk "accidentally"released classified data.

They are in pockets, in State legislature and in challenging the lawfulness of many edicts, far from rudderless, but I wouldn't actually expect anything else nationally so soon after just 3+ weeks of a new administration.
Seems a pretty pointless question to me as defeated parties in democracies always take time to re group without exception.
