This is what the people of America voted for yet now they’re surprised when it’s actually happening. https://www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/archive/2025/02/the-trump-supporters-who-didnt-take-him-at-his-word/681674/
If ever there was an example of being careful of what you wish for, this must be it.
I think Trump is streetsmart and quite intelligent. Which makes some of the things he does even more scary really. I would be interested to hear from some of his supporters but they would perhaps be too browbeaten by the comments to come on here. He could do so much good with all his vast network of supporters , it is a shame he seems to be locked into forcing disadvantaged people to become even more disadvantaged.
I find the ethos of eugenics chilling. I thought it had finally been discredited as a science after WWII.
The idea that somehow supposedly 'superior' humans could decide that what they consider to be 'inferior' human beings belong to some sort of subspecies and therefore have no rights is deeply repulsive.
Many people thought that Trump wouldn't follow through on his pre election rhetoric but he has. If people wait until things happen, it's often too late so US citizens who hate these vile politics need to act now.
Maybe they could check Trump's IQ & use that with a safety net of 10. A lot of the people Beattie has in mind would probably be the right side of that. Of course if his IQ was assessed as less than about 110 he'd probably say the test was done wrong & sack the tester.

The Third Reich were very much into eugenics. The notion of superiority/supremacy is the foundation of facist regimes. There is a disturbing seam rich with such notions running throughout the Trump administration.

Wyllow3 I remember a social worker friend of mine going to Norfolk in the 80s to make arrangements for some patients in a mental health facility to be moved to our town. Going through their notes with a Dr she noticed that NFN was written on quite a few of them. Because she had never come across this before she asked what it meant. The Dr explained what it meant: Normal For Norfolk. This is a taboo subject that people would only discuss in the privacy of their own homes. In the 50s we had a local woman who had educational needs. She had 7 children born disabled. All were taken into care. It’s a very emotive subject.
It’s only a matter of time before they bring back the discredited research on race, class and intelligence. These extreme views are really concerning both sides of the Atlantic, we have Rupert Lowe talking about mass deportations and compulsory acceptance of British culture every day on X, he is also fond of the term of ‘rounding up’ illegal immigrants. I am very worried.
And so the rise of facism continues, with Beattie a real blast from the Nazi past, and do any of us now question what Musk's salute actually signified? Indeed soon we will all be wondering how we could be so naive as to suggest it was just because he felt awkward or didn't know what he was doing. I don't dare think about who else they will hire. This is bad, this is really, really bad, even by Trumpian standards.
“A Trump State Department official has, on a number of occasions, called for the sterilization of “low-IQ trash,” a new report has revealed.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has appointed Darren Beattie to be the acting undersecretary for public diplomacy and public affairs, a senior role that represents American foreign policy to the world.
In May 2024, Beattie wrote on X: “Population control? If only!” “Higher quality humans are subsidizing the fertility of lower quality humans,” he added, calling it the “Foundational reality of social and political life in the post-war West.”
““Pay smart people to have more kids, disincentivize stupid people from having kids. So simple but molds destiny on deep intergenerational level.”
He responded in September 2023 to news regarding African migrants rioting in Israel by saying that the Israeli government “could literally just round them up and drop them in the ocean. Let the ‘human rights groups’ whine... drop them in the ocean too!
Darren Beattie was a speech writer for Trump in his first administration
this all has a horrible ring to it from the 1930's.
