Perhaps the likes of Trump, Musk and Vance don't care about clean streets or menial jobs. Their electric gates and money will insulate them from any deterioration in the world us ordinary folk will be forced to live in.

Our national parks are so popular that they have resorted to metering entrance by forcing visitors to buy tickets for certain days. This will leave a big hole in my heart because I have spent most of my life camping and visiting National Parks.

Apologies re the above. I forgot this is an international group. I was referring to the UK in particular as I don't know the laws on this in other countries.

When it became possible to identify Down's babies in the womb my mother was very keen on the idea of terminating the pregnancies in the hope that the mutation could be bred out and Down's would disappear. I don't know how much further she would have taken it. What would she have thought if she had lived to see her two autistic grandchildren. Of course she grew up in the 30s, when Eugenics was seen as the way to improve society. She doesn't seem to have linked the eugenics she approved of with the actions of the Nazis.

Surely the practice of encouraging women to abort with Down's syndrome right up until 38 weeks is an example of eugenics in our own country? I am not anti-abortion in general, but this seems a very extreme way of using it against a particular kind of human who is viewed as being not good enough for our society.

I was interested to know how much pressure is put on women if they are found to be pregnant with a Down's child, and though these are random articles, and not very scientific check, I suspect that there is quite a lot of persuasion used, at the very least.

Based upon what I have learned about Musk and the increasingly fascist far right hirings in the administration, as well as States like Utah saying is lawful to display the Nazi and confederate flag in schools, I now have not a single solitary doubt that Musk was indeed giving a Nazi salute. A gold plated, officially stamped, Nazi salute. And he must have been laughing at all the people who tried to excuse this. More fool us. As the saying goes ‘if somebody shows themselves to you once, believe it’

I'm surprised that anyone would have the guts to actually say something like this. It's straight out of a Nazi handbook! The elimination of inferiors was a big part of their doctrine.

I do agree that certain criminals should be sterilised.

Which ones and why? The criminal will only contribute half the child's DNA and it is nurture and very rarely nature that produces, even deviant criminals.

There are already laws that can stop a parents seeing a child or being part of their upbringing.
