Gene Hackman and his wife found dead

It's very odd isn't it Iam. He was 95 but she was just 63, and their dog too.

A brilliant actor, never saw him in a bad film and apparently at his acting school, he was rated 'less likely to succeed'.

I suppose we will get to know what happened eventually. It is sad news. I liked Gene Hackman. He was in some very good films.

DH woke me up with the news. Very sad.

I wondered about that too, Luckygirl as the dog had died too.

It's very sad news. If course speculation will be rife, but perhaps a gas leak etc makes most sense.

Precisely. Most comments are from a concerned pov, or an interest in a good actor from the same era as most of us.

This is very sad news. What a wonderful actor he was.

The announcement was that there were no suspicious circumstances so I suppose people will wonder what could have caused this.

He often played lascivious characters in powerful positions, as well as police detectives corrupt or otherwise. He always made the characters believable.

I'm sorry to hear this, but provided this was how they wanted to end things, and not anything untowards happening to them, then I'm sad but understanding.

It is very sad. It is always sad to lose one of our era.

I haven't speculated it's none of my business. It's none of anybody's business. We'll find out sooner or later. Great actor but I didn't know him personally. Boo hoo.
