Trump/Zelensky interview in the White House

I hope what this does if nothing else has yet shown how in adequate and inappropriate it is to support Trump!

Absolute disgrace, pair of bullies. I couldn't believe what I was watching.

I am absolutely stunned.

Of course very heated arguments take place between allies, but never in public to give the enemy succour.

The only person of any stature in the Oval Office was Zelenskyy, a brave man fighting with everything he’s got for his country.

America must hang its head in shame and frankly all take the blame for the spectacle we have just witnessed.

It was very painful to watch. Whatever the difficulties in the negotiations there should never have been two bullies humiliating a man in front of a global audience. Donald wasn’t going to get what he wanted so he shouted!

It’s disgusting that, after the insurrection that he supported Trump is trying to remove Zelensky as a democratically elected leader of his country.

Go Zelensky for walking out.

I hope he slammed the door behind him too.
Trump’s appalling behaviour both demeans and degrades his office.

Does the draft dodging Trump think that his behaviour has made him look big in the eyes of the world?

I’m seeing plenty of rightly-shocked comments about this, but where are our leaders, our politicians? Trump is holding trade sanctions over all of them and seems intent on doing Putin’s bidding. No way should this man be given an unprecedented second state visit here. Appeasing a bully will not bring peace.

How simply dreadful Trump and Vance behaving like a pair of bullies.

It was very uncomfortable viewing and I think Trump’s behaviour and belittling of Zelenskyy was dreadful.

I've never seen anything like it. Bizarre. Public display of bullying, 2 against one, by one Head of State to a guest fellow Head of state.

I can’t quite see what Trump is even offering Zelensky?

But facts are facts. This IS the end game Zelensky. Holding out any longer just puts more Ukrainian lives at risk. It all has to stop somewhere.

This was absolutely appalling. Two grown men acting like playground bullies, shouting down a third . Trump proves again and again that he is not Presidential material.
I wonder what Mr and Mrs America thought of it. A shame really that this came after Starmer's visit. Shameful .

Accusing Zelensky of maybe starting World War 3 was nonsense but it’s all down to Trump if that actually happened!
Can’t begin to guess how Starmer, Macron and King Charles are feeling now, after all their good diplomatic words.

I’ve got a funny feeling Trump and Putin are carving up the spoils of Ukraine.

If Trump pulls out this WILL be a dangerous game.

He’s up to something. He’s looking to China that’s his biggest threat. He doesn’t want to get tied up in Europe.

But why humiliate Zelensky?
