Nothing but nothing, can excuse Israel breaking the cease-fire in Gaza

Not all but very many.
You would think ‘ordinary Gazans’ would be blaming hamas for going into Israel and murdering over a thousand innocent people and for bringing down bombs on their heads and homes, but no not a bit of it.They were delighted by the former and only blame Israel.
Am not sure what can happen in the end to Gaza but it’s guaranteed to be the opposite of what hamas and supporters want.Which is their own fault entirely.

Why the constant repeated insistence that those who turned up for the hostage exchanges represent the views of all Palestinians from Gaza? (Or indeed that they all turned up willingly?)
As I said before, no one is saying all Israelis support Netanyahu...

I do not believe Israel is committing genocide, I believe Israel
is defending itself.

Many here claim genocide, claim Israelis want rid of the government, how am I expected to take this is truth when I read here ,Miriam Margolyes , herself a Jew, condemns Israel,

What Israel is doing is simply following the tradition of so many over powerful states, who have used this power to rid themselves of groups of people they deem the enemy.

So they join the ranks of

Bosnia
Cambodia
Sudan
Rwanda
Guatemala

And others.

History will not be kind to Israel.

They don’t deem anything, hamas and all their many supporters are the enemy.
Still, I expect hamas will be heartened by all this well meaning but wrong support.

It's well worth a view. I'm sure world wide there are actually a whole range of views and shades of opinion.

However, Trump is in the equation now with most definite views that Gaza should be "cleaned out" - I'm sure backdoor channels are very busy indeed.

I agree with Miriam Margolyes when she says Hitler has won. I always had great respect for Jewish people. Still do for most but Netanyahu and others who are using genocide as a means to an end are betraying their own people whose parents/ grandparents went through a similar atrocity.

GN's who are criticising recent events are distinguishing between the people of Israel as a whole from a particular regime

Nothing can excuse the behaviour of Hamas and their supporters, many women and children may feel differently, but Hamas also run their govt.

It is undeniable that Netanyahu has just saved his government by going into coalition with Ben-Gvir. But there were conditions attached.

Ben-Gvir was and is quite openly against a cease fire and the process that had been worked out
