How come, many posters claim no News journalists, allowed in
Gaza, yet we read this morning ‘13 killed, mostly women and children, one woman was pregnant’ .

Who released this ? Hamas

You can get figures from a European charity.

You are wasting your time WW2

Not only is it one of the most stomach turning things we could ever imagine we have this whataboutery going on.
I am not expert on the Middle East. People bandy about Hamas this, Hamas that as if they have some comprehension of the situation.
It's extremely complex and goes back hundreds of years.
I agree with the opening statement. There is no justification.

I think we know for certain how many foreign aid workers have been killed by the Israelis because, well, they’re dead aren’t they. Surely that can’t be a Hamas lie…

Gaza in under fire because Hamas is a threat still to Israel,
Hamas formed by Islamic Resistance Movement is the elected government of Gaza, elected by Palestinians , we have seen the huge support of Palestinians for Hamas when hostages were released

That's not what most commentators around the world are saying.

How much of a threat is Hamas now? On the one hand, claims are being made that Hamas should just give up - now it's a threat. Please make up your mind.

If there is a question over the number of deaths then surely questions over mostly women and children

It would be amazing if the deaths weren't mostly women and children!

Approximately 50% of Gaza's population is under 18. About half the population is female. Therefore, if the deaths are representative of the population in general, approximately 75% of the population is either female or under 18.

Gaza is being bombed because Netanyahu needs to keep his right-wing allies onside, so that he can get his budget passed in the Knesset. If he doesn't, an election will need to be called and there is a chance he would lose.

It’s ironic that posters who don’t like a different view to their own accuse others of having views set in stone. It causes a wry smile.
Gaza isn’t being bombed right now as retribution but for showing military strength to hamas to get them to release hostages and to ram it home that they may as well give up.

Or in others words

Genocide

Are the rather strange and risible arguments being aired in favour of/supporting genocide?
Am not sure why any references to ISIS or reliability of the actual ‘numbers’ reported dead are in any way going to justify Netanyahu taking state of the art fighter bombers and dropping heavy duty bombs on civilians in tents which of course resulted in a massacre, or going to make the families of hostages feel any better about the fact a cease fire necessary to the release of their loved ones has been shattered.
Rather bizarre comments, can’t even qualify them as arguments.

Who said state of the art bombers etc ?

Will pass on that Annie. Life is too short.
Have a good day.

Too short for a name or a link? Ok

With regard to Hamas rejecting the second phase.

That is incorrect.

The second phase was agreed, however Israel has tried to change the agreement on the second phase, and it is this that Hamas object to.

Frankly no one is surprised.

Israel was never going to comply with the second phase.

Children learn from their parents

They certainly do and to indoctrinate and brainwash any child is so wrong

On the issue of “news”

apple.news/A5rA31j4iTfqcvKGLY0btRw

Of course, it’s very hard to distinguish between false and actual news

Talking of children in war zones. Have you seen the news item from an Isis Refugee Camp where a group of children stood mocking the Western camera crew by running their finger across their throats for the beheading sign. Really horrible; this indoctrination at such an early age.

How do we know the number of dead, can we believe the videos released , ?
Without wishing to be in any way insulting, how can we believe anything g?

Recently BBC released a documentary but quickly withdrew it,
life in Gaza now, three children were witnesses, two were children of Hamas government officials, the third could be seen on many videos with Hamas terrorists

10K, 20K, 30K,40K, 50K+, what's the acceptable number of dead Palestinians that is justifiable? How many dead Palestinian children are equivalent to one dead innocent Israeli child murdered horribly by Hamas? What is this massacre of Palestinians achieving? tbh I don't think anyone has a true figure of the number of dead Gazans, they are still lying under the rubble of their homes and does it really matter if the figure given by Hamas is accurate? What we all know is that thousands have died and little has been achieved apart from the complete destruction of people's homes, lives, families and hope, which is a very effective recruiter for terrorism.

👏👏👏
