R.I.P. Virginia..this is a tragedy for her family and friends and people she has supported over the years who never received justice over assault claims…
Hand your head in shame ANDREW

Mar a Lago is familiar…. heard a lot about it in relation to another sleazy character. If that’s true about her father it’s shocking as it is shocking that she was living on the streets at 14.
She never stood a chance, RIP Virginia.

We will never know the truth particularly not now, although I suspect there will be a lot more to come out. I strongly suspect the split with her husband pushed her over the edge.

None of those who trafficked and abused those girls have really paid the price for their actions. As usual, the rich and powerful get away with it, and the grooming and abuse continues...

Was her father rich and powerful?

What does that have to do with anything? I was talking in particular about those who attended Epstein's 'parties' (for want of a better word). Money talks - and buys the silence of others who were complicit in what went on there.

I wish with all my heart that Virginia can rest in peace too. Its also life- affirming reading all of these positive messages. Which send her love and not simply condemnation for the tragic, manipulated lifestyle, which ultimately destroyed her. 😔

Her father took her to the hotel where she sat reading about massage and it drew the attention of Maxwell

Dottydots Sat 26-Apr-25 13:58:10

I read that her father knew exactly what she was doing and escorted her to all her assignments. Shame on him.

eazybee Sat 26-Apr-25 13:57:12

I believe (not entirely sure) her father was employed at Mar-a-Lago and found his daughter a role as a masseuse, which is where she encountered Ghislaine Maxwell, another woman with a troubled childhood.
Never heard any mention of her mother.

Await conspiracy theories! Best to avoid dealing with members of the British royal family. A sad ending for a troubled lady.

I heard a conspiracy theory before I'd heard of VG's death!

Oh No! Those men should be hanging their heads in shame.

Those poor children, I hope they have someone to love, protect and care for them.

RIP Virginia, you're at peace now.

Has her father paid any price

Galaxy Sat 26-Apr-25 12:56:02

Not as high as the price she has paid though.

Jaberwok Sat 26-Apr-25 12:39:46

People, not on here, most certainly have suggested that Andrew was involved with trafficking and Paedophilia, neither of which is true. He behaved arrogantly and extremely foolishly, but not intentionally wickedly. He has certainly paid a heavy price.

Anniebach Sat 26-Apr-25 12:05:28

She was living on the streets age 14, she didn’t know any other life

Money doesn’t repair broken people

lemsip Sat 26-Apr-25 11:45:59

money didn't solve her problems.

Iam64 Sat 26-Apr-25 11:26:21

Jaberwok - unless I misunderstood, the trafficking isn’t suggesting PA is a people trafficker but that she was trafficked by Maxwell and Epstein to have sex with their guests.

James Patterson, author, was amongst the first to see what was happening at Epstein’s home which was in the same area as Patterson. Patterson kept logs, reported his concerns about frequent visits by under age girls. The police investigation led to Epstein arrest and sentence. He was allowed freedom from the jail on a daily basis

I wonder if your name means you are a churchgoer. I hope so because I like to think at least one pastor teaches commonsense principles.

It's well known to ordinary people, not just sociologists, that the circumstantial cause of predation by men on women and children is the culture of laddish entitlement.
I participate in another forum where there are men who have no principles whatsoever.

Caleo Sat 26-Apr-25 11:12:25

Original poster:- Naming and shaming won't work because Andrew and Epstein were like millions of other men , rich and poor, who hold the same beliefs.

Caleo Sat 26-Apr-25 11:07:49

Keeping quiet, the more we protect vulnerable people such as children, from sociopathic predators, the more things WILL get better.

Laddish cultures are founded not only on lack of empathy but also on the mistaken belief that women actually prefer predatory men.

Jaberwok Sat 26-Apr-25 11:07:26

Virginia's father had a lot to answer for, allegedly. Andrew was not the only person to attend these parties, but he was a convenient scapegoat for other, again allegedly, high profile men who partied with enthusiasm, but were never named except in whispers. Yes, he partied, but trafficking? I don't think so.

LOUISA1523 Sat 26-Apr-25 11:04:23

Its very very sad
