They had their worst general election result, and now the worst local election result.

Is the Conservative Party doomed?

The Tories ARE going to be a significant force in the next GE, everything depends on the popularity of Labour at that time, if the voter sentiment is negative a Tory/Reform coalition is quite possible.
Everything depends on the success of Starmers policies and how the Reform party develops, of course to stop Reform moving politics to the right a Tory/Labour coalition is possible.
Very uncertain times.

Where are the Libs in your scenario?

Do you mean narratives such as men can be women, Biden is fine, puberty blockers are harmless, nothing to see with Bidens son - those false narratives, because I only saw a handful of people raising concerns about those.

Then you are reading or listening to the right stuff.

Come out of your bubble and see the wider world - you will be surprised😊

Different sorts of narratives are contested for different reasons.

The creation of false narratives has gone further in the US but is dangerous and yes helps keep a dictator in power.

It just makes me cross with some aspects of Social Media. No wonder people don't vote, it's difficult enough finding the ways around MSM. ..but deliberate falsifying...😡

This
It’s like the entire world now follows the Donald’s lead and simply talks nonsense with the clear expectation of being believed

Oh do you think it’s made up Wyllow3?

Yes. Look at the actual Sky news age numbers of presentation and graphs and they all have Labour in and then a separate section of "other" for the smallest parties.

They've tweaked altered a diagram to miss out the Labour bit. He's also tweaked the Sky logo.

I don’t usually take things as gospel & that’s why I chose not to vote, usually vote Tory but they are finished as far as I can tell.

The graphic is from Akaad Daily the output of right-wing YouTuber and political commentator former UKIP Carl Benjamin. A very nasty piece of work. Mate of Tommy Robinson.

Ie I suspect a deliberate "set up" for the whole page, especially with the large prominent red arrow.

I'v checked out all the Sky News reports and short videos like this one, not to be found anywhere.

What is that graph actually showing Mt61, it doesn’t correlate to the end result seats fought for yesterday? Is it that some bright spark at one point in the results coming in just took out the word Labour and inserted Other?

I’ll have a look & report back soon as

The conservatives haven't been a force in Scotland for a very long time, although there are pockets of support mainly in the north east or the borders. Reform are not making much headway here in actual seats or councils although it is interesting to see their gradual creep up the voting registers. I think they might struggle in Scotland with voting being proportional representation.
