"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the population of Gaza will be displaced to the south after his security cabinet approved an expanded military operation in the enclave that a minister described as a plan to “conquer” the territory.
The vote on Sunday came hours after the military said it would mobilize tens of thousands of reservists, strengthening its capacity to operate in the besieged Palestinian territory.
“One thing will be clear: there will be no in-and-out,” Netanyahu said in a Monday video message posted on X. “We’ll call up reserves to come, hold territory — we’re not going to enter and then exit the area, only to carry out raids afterward. That’s not the plan. The intention is the opposite.”
The plan would be implemented after US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Middle East next week to “provide a window of opportunity” for a hostage deal, the official added
"The plan then, is to displace Gaza’s entire population to the south of the enclave, following which the total the blockade of humanitarian aid may be lifted, the official said, adding that the military “will remain in every area it captures.”"

Probably Instagram, uTube or TikTok
Any key words to help to locate it?
My guess would be in the West Bank at the moment, both young Jewish people and young Palestinians feel hated.
My guess is that many Muslims are in situations where they feel hated or marginalised in the UK as well as Jewish people.
Its horrible but the level of conflict in the Middle East is bringing the worst out in people.

Strange I know but in the interview with the young Jews there
was no mention of GransNet posters views
Which interview, please. I would like to listen to these young people.

It’s a speech by the Israeli PM, they couldn’t twist it, and to applaud the BBC for showing a speech by an Israeli PM is
unbelievable, or not !
Of course some media could "twist" it^ (and probably have) to suit their narrative - this way we get to decide for ourselves.
I quoted some young Jews , you question their right to speak?

So you take it upon yourself to say the young Jews are hated? By whom? This country? The whole world?
So does anyone think that the Canadian Prime Minister, the French President and the British prime minister were wrong in their criticism of Israel. And because they have criticised the Israeli governments actions, do you think that the are anti-Semitic?

Just shows how social media distorts the truth Annie and people need more balanced news reporting than social media.
Yes foxie , I felt so sad for those young people, knowing they
are hated ,
I certainly don't hate the Jewish people and I don't believe any of the posters on this thread have said they do.
I disagree strongly with the Israeli government but to say the Jewish people are hated is very wrong.

Yes read this article I would say this mornings BBC I player front page reporting. -(as mentioned above in parts)
- the only front page article on Gaza/Israel
an example of very balanced reporting.
Here it is to read in full:
"Netanyahu accuses Starmer of siding with Hamas"
www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c7804k13x52o
Agree Oreo.
Propaganda is massively ramped up in times of conflict and it can be difficult to see the wood for the trees.
We are speaking of antisemitism, would there be accurate reporting,
We need to see news reports from as many sources as possible to get at the truth.
As David49 says, hamas wants only women and children holding pots to be shown.
Looking at images on Sky News yesterday there was footage of a anti hamas protest group, all men naturally, well dressed with nice watches holding up their smart phones.
Now that doesn’t mean that all in Gaza are able to dress well and not be hungry and have working phones but neither does it mean all are the opposite.
Hamas released pics and images are often staged.
At this stage of the conflict I’m all for having as many journalists there as possible in order to get a more accurate picture.

The former Israeli prime minister has said that the present administration are "a gang of thugs".
A politician said that about a politician ? Surely not, shock, horror
Interestingly, 17 British Jewish journalists have signed a letter addressed to Egypt and Israel appealing with them to lift the ban on foreign press saying the refusal to allow access was
“an unacceptable restriction on our professional responsibility to inform readers, viewers and listeners accurately and impartially”.
Good to see them taking a stand.
Radio 4 Today has done a very good report about 24 hours in Gaza and the aid - over the past day.
Just shows how social media distorts the truth Annie and people need more balanced news reporting than social media.

Many young Jews on social media blame the UN and the media
for the lies about the deaths from malnutrition over 48 hours
and the deaths of two young people in Washington
The 'biased' BBC have shown Netanyahu this morning condemning the UK, Canada and France for helping Hamas. Is that bias for Israel? They showed the interview and as always no comment or "criticism" was made.
How do you know it was deliberate? There was a quick retraction which is more than most media do when they make a mistake. The BBC is recognised by many overseas countries as being one of the best public broadcasting organisations in the world, if you don't like the information they give you there's lots of media that's funded by rich people with a very clear political agenda to listen to. I know which I prefer.
Fwiw I'm always amused to see that the BBC is seen as right wing by some and left wing by others and it's usually IMO because people object to what the news is actually about on that day. Eg not enough criticism of Hamas? Probably because the actual news of the day is the IDF bombing a hospital or Netanyahu has made a statement about not allowing food aid in to Gaza etc There's a difference between "news" and "opinion"!
