I wonder what their views were on masked ICE agents swarming people in the streets, taking people without telling them who they are and why they were being taken, sent to a facility, not given due process, not receiving medical care or food, then being sent to an ultra-max prison in a country they have never stepped foot in.

They have picked up citizens and permanent legal residents AND people who they were told not to remove from the country to start with.

I am aghast that anyone, anywhere in the world, would be ok with the way this is being handled.

One would assume the word illegally means that due process has been carried out.

One would assume from the wording that due process should be carried out, and, if found they are there illegally, they should be deported.

The real problem is not with the National Guard but rogue vigilante groups feeling justified in launching illegal campaigns against Hispanic people - they seem to be the main target

One should never assume anything. On any topic.

None of these migrants have had due process and are being removed from the country against court orders. Even the Supreme Court has ordered a few returned to the US.

There are accounts of long term (20+ years) permanent legal residents with no criminal history being detained and held for weeks without anyone even telling them why they were detained.

Reports are also coming out now that these detained people are not getting medical care, nor food, in some cases.

They are being treated like animals in cages and are being targeted due to the color of their skin. A Hispanic US Marshall was handcuffed in Arizona, I believe, and was told that he "fit the descriptions", which means he looked Hispanic. He told them he was a US Citizen and was asked for his passport. Do any of you carry your passport daily? We are being advise to carry our passports with us at all times to prove citizenship so we don't get handcuffed and put in a plane.

That is how serious it is.

It is no different than Hitler rounding up the people he didn't like. Now that the Trump team is calling protests insurrections, it is going to escalate. People are going to start getting killed IMO.

This image is how ICE rolls into town to start, literally, grabbing people off the street. Breaking car windows, entering houses without warrants.
