20 EDL demonstrators cost £58,000 to be policed!

It was actually on the "Manchester Police" series, which is very good as it shows the huge variety of dramatic work they do - RTA's, suicide threats, bad pub fights, cannabis houses, domestic violence..

Anyway just 20 violent demonstrators from the English Defence League cost the police £58.000 to be contained.

And I bet they grumble about taxes and how the country is going to the dogs "because of Muslims".

The EDL is wholly deplorable and intent on violence but so is Palestine Action and related groups who support terrorist organisations such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
