If you feed people pap it tends to be easily digested.

How pompous you sound

Yes, it does, doesn't it!

Not that I would defend GB News simply because I've never watched it, but that kind of superior talk just alienates people and makes them defensive.
It's just not very psychologically astute.

Galaxy Thu 26-Jun-25 20:08:40

Or politically astute.

Casdon Thu 26-Jun-25 20:10:35

The fan girls are amusing too Kandinsky. It’s like a well orchestrated dance around the handbags on threads like this, I imagine it’s to the Osmonds singing ‘Love me for a reason’.

Or politically astute.

Alienating others by belittling them is politically astute?

Ah well.

Or politically astute.

Got it (not very astute of me! 😀)

Galaxy Thu 26-Jun-25 20:47:49

Probably my fault, it wasn't that cleargrin

Any ‘news’ programme that has Farage, Rees Mogg and Holmes on it has to be as biased and skewed to the right as it’s possible to be.

The GB presenters do express their opinions and some rather forcefully which I found very difficult at first a d I still don't care for one if the presenters. They do get on guests from across the political spectrum though and I do like the lively debates. Plus Michael Portillo of course!

So does that Naga Munchetty, she’s quite opinionated. Take for example, the drama that KS wanted to show around the schools, would insist on calling it a documentary, which it certainly wasn’t, it was a drama. I thought she was rude talking over KB, everytime Kemi said drama, she would announce, ‘documentary’ ha

That's not what I remember. Badenoch called it a film. Munchetty corrected that. Badenoch said, "It’s a fictional series, it’s not a documentary." Munchetty didn't call it a documentary.

Have watched GB News since finding that was where Stephen Dixon had gone. Patrick Christys is so good too & all the rest are much better than any of the presenters on the other News channels! The only time I stick the mute on or turn off is when they have an idiot on that I really cannot stand - a man called Lis! Loves himself too much!

Well, it’s very good thing you don’t have to watch it then, isn’t it? 🤓

Nick Ferrari on LBC from 7 - 10am every weekday is, in my opinion, the best presenter ever.

nanna8 Fri 27-Jun-25 08:44:07

I sometimes watch plank of the week but it seems to always be more or less the same people. Whether accurate or not, well, who cares ?

I like Nick Ferrari too. He says what he thinks, like all the GB News presenters.

I tune in regularly for entertainment. I find it to be one long Conservative Party Political Broadcast. Unbiased!!!! Ha Ha, Aye, Right!!

sandrahere Fri 27-Jun-25 15:12:11

ah , the old " tell it as it is" trope. Like Farage. Only he tells a big fat pack of lies.

I think many - or most - politicians do that!

Walking for SAFA and other armed forces charities…

Bixiboo Sat 28-Jun-25 10:01:06

Charlie is a British Army reservist and has been since being at University. Another excellent young journalist working for GB news.

I just caught a glimpse of Patrick and Emily’s baby scan photo last night. They seem a lovely couple.

The gist of it seems to be pro Trump, constant propaganda about immigrants, Farage and saying Starmer is an idiot.

So yes, I suppose it will be popular?

Like the BBC being pro-Labour then, they don’t show half of what’s going on.

Mt61 Sat 28-Jun-25 13:58:38

Oh yes she certainly did. You need to watch it again on YouTube.
