I read that, AGAA4, the US and Israel said Hamas was 'acting selfishly'. Hamas said they were still prepared to talk.
But then an anonymous politician said, that no, the talks had not broken down.
So, does one believe Trump's envoy, the Israeli spokesperson, Hamas, or anonymous?
I know who I do not believe.

Of course the US and Israel condemn France for voting for a state of Palestine.
The US and Israel have pulled out of peace talks in Qatar accusing Hamas of not acting in good faith.

Reading the article about the French vote, was amazed to see how many other nations already agree that there should be a state of Palestine.
There also appears to be mounting pressure for the UK Government to join them. A whole article about it. This latest West Bank announcement might influence a decision.

Was hoping to be able to see some breakdown of how that annex vote went. Was it a bare majority, a huge majority or was it unanimous?

No, settlers are not politicians. The settlers were at the parliament to lobby for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
By that I mean, to discuss the forced removal of the Palestinians from their ancestral homes to make way for the pleasure plazzas that are being planned for the rich elites.
Looks as if they managed to negotiate much more than that.

Pleased to see the UK call for the state of Palestine to be recognised in the UN.

Anyone who can justify this suffering will be capable of justifying anything. Yesterday's vote in the Knesset for annexation of the West Bank is clear intention to continue this war.

The Knesset has voted to completely annex the West Bank.

Most of the children in Gaza now have been so harmed by malnutrition, that even if they receive an adequate diet from today onwards, will never fully recover, and will be affected for the rest of their lives.

What Israel has done will be witnessed for decades.

When will this mass extermination of 2 million people stop?

When it reaches 100000? Or 500000? Or 2 million?

At least in previous mass slaughters the world had the spine to send in the troops snd stop it.

Just caught two contrasting headlines, about Gaza.
From sky news,
'People in Gaza are walking corpses',
then in The Guardian,
'Far right Israeli politicians and settlers discuss luxury 'Gaza Riviera'. Aparently this discussion took place in parliament.
It would seem that for some prominent Israelis, the people of Gaza are some sort of disposable entities.
It's as if they have no value as human beings.

We were told how, Netanyahu has it entirely within his power to feed those children.

That in fact a few months ago there was an outbreak of polio amongst the Gaza children, and within a week or so Netanyahu had every child vaccinated in Gaza.

Reason?

Because he didn’t want the virus to spread to Israeli children.

Israel has agreed to a series of “humanitarian pauses” in Gaza to allow for the vaccination of children against polio, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.
The campaign will aim to vaccinate around 640,000 children across the Gaza strip and will begin on Sunday, senior WHO official Rik Peeperkorn said.
It will be rolled out in three separate stages, across the central, southern and northern parts of the strip. During each stage, fighting will pause for three consecutive days between 06:00 and 15:00 local time.
The agreement comes days after UN officials said a 10-month-old baby had been partially paralysed after contracting Gaza’s first case of polio for 25 years.
Around 1.26m doses of the novel oral polio vaccine type 2 (nOPV2) are already in Gaza, with 400,000 additional doses set to arrive soon.
The vaccinations will be carried out by UN staff and other local health workers. Over 2,000 health and community outreach personnel have been trained to administer the vaccine.
Louise Wateridge, a UN spokeswoman in Gaza, has called for a ceasefire to allow the vaccination programme to run safely.
"We cannot vaccinate children under a sky full of bombs and strikes, we cannot vaccinate children who are fleeing for their lives," she told Radio 4's Today programme on Friday.
"Any military operations during the time we are trying to roll out a vaccination campaign will affect our ability to deliver these vaccinations to children," she explained.
Ms Wateridge said children will receive two oral doses this week, and will need a repeat vaccination four weeks later.
The WHO is aiming to achieve 90% vaccine coverage across the strip, which is needed to stop transmission of the virus within Gaza.
An agreement is in place for an additional fourth day of vaccination and humanitarian pause if needed to achieve that level of vaccination.

Ironic isn't it. Ensure the children that may well starve to death if they're not blown up or shot by the IDF are at least vaccinated against polio.

But who is saying that the UN refuses to work with the GHF?
What about the food that the Christian Patriarchs brought to Gaza very recently? Details in posts upthread for any who have missed them. What was it, 500 tonnes?
That was not distributed in Gaza because of 'regulations'. Don't think that had anything to do with the UN.

They just have to act within the Geneva Convention in how they deal with the situation.
Stopping food and other aid into Gaza is not an acceptable act of war.

There is a large quantity of food aid rotting in Gaza because the UN refuses to work with the GHF.

That maybe because they have not exercised neutrality, and have presided over many Palestinians being killed.

But that hardly matters when you have the most experienced aid agencies in the world willing and able to provide sufficient food to feed Gaza for about 3 months.

My question is

Why doesn’t Netanyahu let this aid agency distribute all the aid it has ready at the border?
