Palestinians are now banned from entering the sea at pain off death from the IDF.

Why would they be in the sea at the moment?

The union Unite has voted overwhelmingly for an arms embargo on Israel and to 'support members to refuse to build, handle or transport weapons destined for Israel'.

Thought they were too busy slagging off Angela Rayner.
Hating all things from Israel is pretty much a far left position and has been for ages.Which is why Keir Starmer vowed to clean the stables.

How awful Whitewave. It just goes on and on.
Glad that some of our Politicians have stepped up to the mark to protest the slaughter.

Classic diversionary tactics.

798 people seeking aid have now been killed.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and several other Palestinian militant groups launched coordinated armed incursions from the Gaza Strip into the Gaza envelope of southern Israel, the first large-scale invasion of Israeli territory since the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. 1200 killed

Amusing relief, The Welsh not even a tiny mention in the
Bible, much about the Jews

genealogy

Maremia Sat 12-Jul-25 17:47:25

Since we are into genealegy for a wee bit, how many of the current population of Israel, who identify as being Jews, have great-grandparents who were born in what is now named as Israel? How many of that population are actually immigrants to the area?

It must be exhausting to argue like this.

Still not ancient Britons!
England did as the Arab countries tried to do and still want to do to Israel

A distinct Welsh culture emerged among the Celtic Britons after the Roman withdrawal from Britain in the 5th century, and Wales was briefly united under Gruffudd ap Llywelyn in 1055. After over 200 years of war, the conquest of Wales by King Edward I of England was completed by 1283,

I'm talking about ancient Britons.1965 is not ancient!

Neither is 1948,

1940’s , 50’s , Welsh was forbidden in school , Welsh History
not allowed to be taught.

My grandfather -
radical reinterpretation of the effect of excluding Welsh from schools on the fortunes of the language. Most people in Wales know that some children in the nineteenth century were victims of the Welsh Not, a wooden board hung around the necks of children who were heard speaking Welsh. ...

Who owns the land? First people there? That would be Africans as paleontologists have unearthed ancient bones in what is now Israel.
Even in Britain many of us have come from other regions.
If the original tribes decided they owned the land would it be theirs. I think the Welsh were some of the first people but I doubt it would go down well if they wanted to claim parts of England.

You are confused ,

The Tryweryn flooding, or Tryweryn drowning (Welsh: Boddi Tryweryn), was the 1965 flooding of the Tryweryn valley in Gwynedd (then Merionethshire), Wales, to create the Llyn Celyn reservoir. The flooding of the valley, located to the north west of Bala, submerged the rural community of Capel Celyn. The project was developed by Liverpool Corporation, to supply Liverpool and Wirral with water for industry.[1]

Liverpool did apologise years later, no use to the people who
were forced from their homes and farms, even told to dig up their dead from the graveyard if they didn’t want them under a reservoir

'a majority Arab population'... a majority!
Thought that the majority, in a democratic society has the bigger say?

Thanks AnnieB, isn't research helpful?

As if posters never research data themselves hey?

The claim that Arabs "owned" the land that became Israel is a simplification of a complex history. While a majority Arab population lived in the region for centuries, the land also has deep historical and religious significance for Jewish people, who also maintained a presence there for millennia. The question of ownership is further complicated by historical shifts in power, migrations, and political decisions.

Conveniently forgotten by posters on this thread.

Occupied and owned by Arabs. That is when the stealing of land began.

AGAA4 Sat 12-Jul-25 16:14:31

It was in the 1920s that Britain allowed many Jews into a land occupied by Arabs and surrounded by hostile countries.
Fighting began almost immediately and has carried on intermittently ever since.
How could anyone believe that they would live in harmony. The Palestinians have been pushed into the Gaza strip and Israel it seems wants all of that land now.

Anniebach Sat 12-Jul-25 16:04:50

Palestinians are Arab ?
