Member of the Knesset Smotrich has been convicted of inciting racism and supporting a terrorist organisation. With Ben Gvir he has been sanctioned for incitement to violence. Netanyahu trial for corruption is ongoing.
With men with no morals whatsoever
it's no wonder that such atrocities are taking place.

Smotrich and Ben Givr are not the whole government.

But they have an excessive level of power, because what is keeping Netanyahu in government is largely as a result if the extremists particularly the settlers. It is these extremists that support the two unpleasant characters.

It isn’t genocide, there are about two million people in Gaza, they’re there and have to live somewhere. So naturally they will have to live in a smaller place together as so much of Gaza is now uninhabitable. They will need food, medical supplies and some kind of a roof over their heads, schools and all the infrastructure of a city.
I still haven’t read what posters think should immediately happen and how Gazans should live? In the rubble of their own houses perhaps?

Placards, talking to marchers and observation. Not difficult.

How does one observe a Roman Catholic ? they carry placards
saying I am RC. Jews “I am a Jew” “ Buddhas” “Hindu” to name a few, you walked through marchers asking “ what is your faith “

foxie48 Wed 09-Jul-25 15:32:59

It's an absolute disgrace that we are still training IDF soldiers and supplying weapons to Israel and it is appalling that as a country we refuse to call it out for what it is. It is genocide.

Seeking out Jews in a march of thousands , how did you distinguish all faiths ?

silverlining48 Wed 09-Jul-25 15:14:44

Lacrepescule There was a massive turnout fur the last months London march which I went on. Must have been many thousands. Very few police present and no trouble with people of every age from teenagers, young parents wth small babies to the really elderly. I am so pleased I went. It was heartwarming to see so many people of all faiths including Jews, that cared.

Anniebach, you are so woefully misinformed that your comment is not deserving of a response.

Yet you responded with as often here an attempt to insult

History repeats itself, only last time the world didn’t stand around doing nothing.
This was never supposed to happen again and yet it is….I applaud those courageous aid workers, medics and journalists for exposing Israel.
What can we do? Not much but we can put pressure on our government. I’m going on the march on 17th July in London and I hope there’s a good turn-out.

Why don’t the Palestinians in Gaza choose to live in Palestine if they decide they have to move

silverlining48 Wed 09-Jul-25 14:45:21

Forcing people into a ghetto … sounds horribly familiar

silverlining48 Wed 09-Jul-25 14:40:21

Let’s remember that the whole of Gaza is only 25 miles long x about 4 miles wide with 2.3 million squeezed into a smaller area than the Isle of Wight, with its population of a mere 140,000.
To now even consider putting those millions into a much tinier area in the south of Gaza is inhumane.

What do posters suggest that Palestinians should do or go to?
Those that want to or can, will leave for other countries but those that can’t will have to live in Gaza. They have to live somewhere and be looked after don’t they?
What Israel will never countenance again is a government in Gaza like hamas.

Do you honestly think that so many people herded together in a tiny space won't have local leaders? Of course they will. Some of them will co-operate with the Israelis (probably for some backhanders - wink wink), but most will not have forgotten what's happened to them and will want some kind of revenge (especially when they see their former homeland being turned into a resort) - and that's going to be passed down generations. It's a recipe for disaster.

Smileless2012 Wed 09-Jul-25 14:30:51

TBH Maremia I'm beginning to wonder as the rest of the world stands by with meaningless platitudes and does nothing angry.

Maremia Wed 09-Jul-25 14:25:32

Should Palestinians have Human Rights?
Or are they considered by some to be 'an inferior race'?

Smileless2012 Wed 09-Jul-25 14:25:07

They have to live somewhere and be looked after don't they? are you being serious Oreo? !!!

They can't even go to where they've been told to go to collect meagre food rations without being shot at. Do you really believe that herding them into a ghetto is to ensure they're looked after?

Anniebach Wed 09-Jul-25 14:07:50

What will Hamas decide they live there and are Palestinians

LizzieDrip Wed 09-Jul-25 14:05:31

So Oreo is it your understanding that Palestinians will be given the free choice of either:

1) remain in your home of Gaza (what’s left of it) and try to rebuild your lives

or

2) go into a ‘transition camp’ (from which you cannot leave) ready for deportation to another country.

They have the choice do they?

As Hamas Palestinians want to carry out on all Jews

So? That's a bit childish and doesn't negate the fact that Netanyahu wants to treat all Palestinians like prisoners. It's not a race to the bottom.

How about volunteering to live in a ghetto Anniebach? It seems you have no problem with living like that.
