I didn't write that they target women and children, but the IDF claims that it targets Hamas - it doesn't. The IDF has no idea whether there are any Hamas operatives in the specific hospitals and schools it has bombed. It's "carpet bombing" and it just seems to hope that some of the killed were Hamas.

Yesterday I spent away from the news etc, and have only opened up the BBC app. This morning.

I have never seen anything like it.

Every single item on it’s home page is about the atrocities taking place in Gaza.

It is as if the veiled has been lifted from their eyes. The flood gates are at long last opened.

cheered and mocked at the dead body of a female hostage who was driven around Gaza and the vast crowd of men who jeered

Israeli secret operatives were in Iran for at least a year before they killed those men. Plus the fact that they weren’t hiding in underground tunnels or mixing with the hoi polloi.
Unlike in Gaza where Hamas are doing exactly that.

The charming Mr Mercer said in so many words that there is no famine in Gaza, just famine of the truth. At least the retired colonel acknowledged that there is famine in Gaza, there was just a difference of opinion between her and Nick Ferrari as to where the blame lies.

Correction ‘aim’

I find it strange that the IDF were able to target commanders in the Iranian Republican guard and assassinate them, and Hezbollah senior members but they can’t kill senior Hamas members without blowing up refugee camps and civilian buildings until Gaza looks like a moon scape. The thing is that the IDF have targeted Hamas senior members and taken them out but they won’t stop until everything in Gaza is destroyed and all the Palestinians are gone, either dead or ‘relocated’.
They could have targeted Hamas senior members within the first year, called a ceasefire to release all hostages, and made the first difficult steps towards a peace process.
But that was never Netanyahus sim.

and ‘eliminated’ through missions completed with pinpoint accuracy according to the Israeli reporting - in tunnels, under hospitals, in schools and refugee camps, and now in queues for food and water.
If the IDF and its political masters are so sure then they must be able to identify Hamas members somehow, through their formidable intelligence gathering system.

Has anyone just watched the interview on Sky News with the Israeli representative. I don’t know how the interviewer kept a lid on it ( in fact he was struggling to do so). I’m shaking all over with anger…( this is why I’m having to avoid the news as much as possible…).

I assume you mean the interview with Mr David Mercer? I have never seen that particular Sky News presenter come close to losing his temper before. Nick Ferrara, one of the most professional presenters on LBC, interviewed a retired, female, IDF colonel this morning who was saying more or less word for word what Mr Mercer was saying i.e. blaming Hamas for withholding food and for shooting the people queuing for food.

Neither interviewee explained why the malnutrition and shooting of people queuing for food and water has only occurred since the US and Israeli backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has been responsible for delivering aid to Gaza. Neither did they explain why the present chaos surrounding the food distribution did not occur prior to GHF involvement. David Mercer refused to explain why extra security was not being supplied to prevent the present chaos.

maybee I didn’t watch the Sky interview but have listened to others which have made my blood boil. Israel is not reading the room, but it rarely does and frankly it doesn’t really care as long as its best friend stands by them.
