No one that I have seen is or has denied there is antisemitism in the real world on any of these threads Oreo.

There’s no problem with feeling sorry for the people in Gaza, it’s the whirlwind hamas have brought down on their heads.
There’s every problem with only criticism of Israel.

You can discuss the Gaza situation to your hearts content but you have to admit that in the real world if not on here there is antisemitism inextricably linked by very many people with it.

IMO that is the problem Maremia. To say that rising antisemitism is concerning would be an understatement but that should not be used to attempt to shut down any criticism of Israels war crimes.

But working with those in the Jewish communities who are not happy with Netanyahu definitely need to be in a letter, (and protection, as I suggested above) after Annie's pertinent point.

Is part of the problem, if there is one, on this thread, that some posters are very/more concerned about all the rising issues about antisemitism, and appear to suggest that to stop this rising hatred we should not be criticizing Netanyahu and his actions?
So, to stop anti semitism in the outside world, we must stop here discussing Gaza and ways to help those people.?

Some people are on the marches for entirely the wrong reasons and I think you know that whitewavemark2 since they have been protesting since a few days after the October atrocities by hamas.
I can’t know about posters on here or other forums but I do know that for a lot of people they simply cannot or won’t distinguish between Jews everywhere and Israel.

Of course there are!!

And yes there are people unable to distinguish between a state, its government and its population.

But I am assuming that this is not the case on these threads, which is why I urge people not to muddle the two and become like the unthinking.

^Trying to shut it down?^ shut what down Oreo? A thread to discuss antisemitism isn't shutting down a discussion, it's opening one unless you prefer it be constantly brought up here, to try and shut down any criticism of Israels behaviour in Gaza and the West Bank.

Where have I said that you shouldn’t discuss the behaviour or rhetoric of the Israeli government?
I have repeatedly said I very much abhor the settler violence in the West Bank and that the GHF isn’t working and lorries of aid should have been resumed before now.

And because it gets muddled into the way Israel is conducting itself, it never gets properly recognised or discussed.

Which in turn leads you oreo and annie to suggest that there is anti-semitism on this thread when in point of fact it is the exact opposite. But you both remain unhappy because it isn’t discussed and the reason?

Look at the threads title.

That tells you all you need to know. And why people are protesting all over the world.
